Yeah,As far as I can tell every single local show on JOB has attracted new sponsors. Even new shows with hosts that have no radio experience whatsoever, have managed to outperform the Creature in sponsorship. It's time for JED to cut bait and let someone else take over that time slot.

Today's Episode: Liar,Liar,Pants on Fire or How to blame everyone else for my own failures.

Over an hour of solid lies,and total misrepresentations. Same old crap about the Times message board and how he had 40,000 hits on his topic. (Yeah,20,000 were shameless spamming like his idiotic horse race entries,and the other 20,000 were people like myself asking him to stop spamming,stop mooching,and buy an ad like a responsible person would do.)

The loser continues to complain he's being blackballed in his fruitless search for suckers to advertise on his show,which is basically just a forum for that idiot "Marsha" to float her wacked out conspiracy theories.

His fruitless search for anyone dumb enough to sponsor him seems to be taking a toll on him. He might have a better chance of finding the Loch Ness monster before he comes upon a sap to invest in his :titanic:

Lately, I occasionally listen to the preachers show. Mainly due to this thread...I just had to see what all the fuss was about.
I have no interest whatsoever in Hammond politics and have rarely posted about Hammond, on this board, or any other.
I realize my opinion will be an unpopular one here....but I believe he was being sincere today in his rant.
I believe he has been treated unfairly by some who wish to silence him.
While I agree with pretty much nothing (politically) he has to say.....he has the right to say it.

Lib,No one is trying to silence him. If anyone is guilty of that kind of tactic it's him. Do you recall his insane vendetta towards the Fowler & Mailman show? He went ballistic after they started their show,even going so far as to deliberately sabotaging the board controls before their very first show.
His current predicament is strictly of his own making. The fact that he wants to blame everyone else but himself for his failures just illustrates how far out of touch he really is.

WhiLib the creach does have all the right in the world, in the world, bang, pshhh, in the world to say whatever he likes. I listen consistently because work keeps me in the car and some of the stuff he says is pretty funny. I, as a Hammond business owner, get turned off from wanting to advertise with him when he goes on his rants about how bad the city looks or how we are becoming Gary or that the city services are lackluster. First of all its untrue. Second, those comment negatively impact my business. It would not,make business sense to support his show if you're a hammond business. Maybe a business outside of hammond, but he can't find anymore advertisers there.

Not one peep out of the Creature concerning those 285 new jobs at Lear.

The Creature was back on the pity pot today crying about not having any sponsors and blaming everyone else for his failures. He then proceeded to his usual Hammond bashing,focusing on Downtown Hammond.

Maybe someone should point the idiot to what Joan Crist and Duane Dedelow wrote today in the NWI Times...

Throughout the show he complimented himself on the various problems of Hammond that he claims to have solved.

Funniest part of the show and 'Stupid Creature moment" was when numbnutz proclaimed that he should be put in charge of the Festival of the Lakes because he knew how to make tons of money on it. Yeah,a moron that can't even sell $99 local advertising spots on his radio show and is struggling to stay on the air,wants to be put in charge of a major city event where expenses and fees run into the hundreds of thousands.
What could possibly go wrong with that idea?

Maybe he can work as a hotel clerk at the LaSalle Hotel if he wants a real job.

The Creature went on a rampage today,once again crying about his failing show and blaming all of it on the administration. He's upset that the administration hasn't responded to his "olive branch", whatever the hell that is.

This loser has been bashing the administration and the city of Hammond non-stop ever since he was disinvited from the Mayor's boat cruise.
Now all of a sudden he wants to call a truce and expects the admin to kiss his ass? IMO,this is nothing more than a desperate attempt to have candidates pay to be on his :titanic: show now that election season is on the horizon.

IMO,The Creature's latest attempt to extort the administration into cooperating with him came today. He started threatening to run for mayor,squawking about how he could get thousands of votes. Never mind that the failed drifter has IMO,never succeeded at anything. Every radio program he's hosted,with the exception of the one now where he was demoted from afternoons to midday, has eventually been taken off the air. Both of his marriages have failed in short times. He wasn't even able to live independently,instead living with his 83 yr old father. He's also admitted on the air that he's had credit problems.

Is this someone you would want as mayor of a city where millions of dollars have to be managed? A failed drifter with no actual achievements that can be verified? This idiot may claim he can get "thousands" of votes but imo, his base consists of about a dozen barflies and an unemployed troll that can't even afford a computer.

IMO, the Creature's problems in life are a result of his Egocentric personality. Let's take a closer look and see how it applies to him...

Today's Episode: By Golly,Another Foolish Folly

The failed drifter announced his latest pipe dream today. He wants to start a 3rd political party. He believes this is viable based on the few misfits that call into his :titanic: show or drink with him. Now he hasn't figured out a name for it yet,so I say lets help him out. My first 2 choices would be "The scheme party" or maybe "Drifters and Grifters".
Another can't miss idea from the Creature! This ought to work out about as well as his plan to have a boat cruise to compete with the Mayor's.

The rest of the :titanic: mainly dealt with the region's favorite armchair quarterback decrying the way children are raised today,despite the fact that he has never had any. Heck.he couldn't even make his 2 marriages work,but now he's an expert in child rearing? :rolfcry:

Today's Episode: Excuse me while I stick a knife in your back.

The :titanic: show today was dedicated mainly to Lake County Coroner Dr Thomas Philpot. Using his usual strong arm tactic the Creature whined about Philpot not coming on his show,then spent the rest of the show criticizing him,while claiming how much he liked him. The unemployed troll "Marsha" AKA "Freetime"of course jumped in to pile on. The half woman is still livid over the good Dr's remark that he said to her "You were a scam then and you're a scam now".

Stupid Creature moment of the day: He can't understand why no one from the "McMafia",as he refers to the administration, will come on his show. I don't really need to explain this,do I?

A couple of his brain dead listeners called in to claim that only the Creature asks the tough questions and that's why the Mayor won't come on. Really? Really? Apparently these yamheads are unaware of the Mayor's show every Friday where he takes all calls,even from his enemies like "Favio" and the habitual liar "Marsha".

In a further sign that his :titanic: show is failing the Creature is now having to play some of the same commercial spots that originated on JED's show. IMO,JED must have finally got tired of carrying the show like a charity case. The Creature's promise to get more sponsors obviously failed miserably.

We here at Flagenheimer Enterprises feel that any politician seeking public office would be a fool to come on the :titanic: show. They would be better served appearing on either "JED in the Morning",or the popular "Stew & Vera" show in the afternoon. At least on those shows you'll get a fair shot and you won't have to worry about being thrown under the bus the moment you leave the studio.

Today the Creature was in his full Walter Mitty mode. He envisioned himself as an urban planner/architect as he put forth a crackpot plan to turn Wicker Park into a lake,along with hotels,a casino,fine dining,dancing,boats,fishing,ect. Even the unemployed crank "Marsha" AKA "Freetime" thought it was a nutty idea,proving that even a blind squirrel can occasionally find a nut. He thinks he could make it into a "destination"

I'm not even going to get in to the costs and footprint that would be needed to accomplish something like this,much less lining up corporations that would invest in an insane scheme such as this. Let's just start with the obvious. Every one of the boats in the area would be against this. The last thing they want is any more competition and they are the most powerful lobbyists of all.

Right before the show ended a caller pointed out that the Creature was showing his hypocrisy by railing against everything the Mayor wants to bring to Hammond,yet he thinks his pipe dream is a feasible idea. The Creature,right on schedule,started raising his voice,talking over the caller,and of course reached out with that "olive branch" by accusing the caller of being with that figment of his imagination, "the McMafia".

I'm so sorry. I just came across your reply and no longer have the transcript. Today he was back extending that "olive branch" to the admin again by railing against the "penguin" whom he is extremely jealous of. He also made up a story about someone being cornered at the "pampered womens" show by the "mcmafia" but failed to provide any proof whatsoever.

Few calls and of those a couple were moo's and hee-haws . In fact,"Stew & Vera" had more calls their first hr than he did his whole :titanic: show.

Todays Episode: Boo Hoo

The Creature spent the whole midday :titanic: show whining about Health Care Reform although I only heard some of it. He was his usual uniformed self. As an example one caller asked him how not one Republican could not vote for it. His reply was that all the Democrats voted for it. As usual he was dead wrong as 34 some Democrats voted against it. there were many other examples as well. On the bright side at least he didn't have time to bash Hammond

Later on a caller pointed out that the Creature receives a government check every month and that his healthcare is paid for by the same. Immediately the Creature accused them of being a city or gov't worker. IMO,there are some serious questions that need to be answered regarding his "disability". Perhaps someone would like to call in and ask him these questions...

1) How does a "disabled" person play 18 holes of golf,as he previously admitted,as recently as last year?

2) He has recently floated an idiotic idea of running for Mayor. Being "disabled" how could he possibly manage a job that requires the occupant to basically be on duty 24 hrs a day.

The honorable Mayor Tom McDermott Jr pointed out today on his radio show that the Creature spent 2 hrs yesterday misleading his audience about what actually transpired at the most recent Hammond City council meeting. The funny thing is that the failed drifter didn't even know anything about it until a listener commented on a story in the paper. So in effect you've a got a talk show host talking about a topic that he didn't even know about,despite there being an article in the paper about it. Just another example of how unprepared and uninformed he truly is,yet he spouts his uninformed and ignorant opinions as if he's an expert.

Maybe if the Creature actually took the time to attend a City Council meeting he would be better informed. Oh,and reading the local papers might be a good idea too.
