The Christian vs Muslin issue is debatable, and church membership only makes you a Christian in name. But regardless it's hardly worth arguing about or mentioning that many black leaders join a church not out of religious conviction so much as rather a social-political thing.

Nazi I have addressed. That leaves communist, which isn't the same thing as socialist but often gets confused, and terrorist, which I don't believe he was but he certainly seems to have acquired a few friends with that history which raises fair questions.

Not really. Was Judas a "Christian" (using the term very loosely, of course. The disciples went out 2 by 2 and performed miracles, you know. So how could he now be damned and known as the all time betrayer if he was once a believer and performed miracles in the name of the Lord?

I'm not sure what perspective of Christianity you are coming from or why you truly believe Obama to be a Christian but having a belief at one time does not necessarily exclude any person from being the Antichrist or the false prophet. In fact, I've heard Pope John Paul II even felt the false prophet would be a defector from the faith, meaning of course that he once would have actually been a Christian.

It never says anything about 7 years of peace actually. It mentions a 7 year agreement which he breaks half way through, which is where the 3 1/2 years thinking comes from. And looking at it in terms of US political elections that could mean the pot gets stirred up just before the 2012 elections. Now that would be interesting! But admittedly a lot of this is timetable is more speculation and implication. It's the subject of many topics of discussion and some have felt either parts have already come to pass or weren't understood or were just allegory or something else.

Now what I will say about this period in Bible prophesy is I feel confident in 2 things. The war of Ez 38 & 39 is not only a literal war but will happen rather soon now, the stage is all set and the timing is right, and that there will be an Antichrist and false prophet coming on the world scene soon and will be adored by many - exactly like the enchantment much of this country if not the world seems to have for Obama. Also I believe there will be the wars (plural) of Armageddon culminating in a final battle in Megiddo before the literal return of Christ for the Millennial rein.

A whole lot more could be said, but obviously this isn't the best thread to go into more detail than that for now other than to say I didn't used to think a literal computer type sub-dermal mark was necessarily a given. But it seems like we may be heading towards a self fulfilling prophesy in that area as the technology now indeed exists that no man can buy or sell without taking a literal mark, which by design RFID embedded technology not only makes it possible but it is now the law and awaiting implementation that you must possess one for public travel and to enter Federal buildings at least. And don't forget that you already need a government photo id just to get behind the counter medicines that aren't even prescriptioned! That one is on Bush's watch as well and I'm not too happy about it.

I'm not so sure about that! Looking at the electoral map it seems like the urban areas mainly put Obama into power. In the heartland it was much a different matter. I'm not sure Palin really will take over the leadership of the party and be the #1 contender in 2012, but she certainly does seem to be leaning that way. And don't underestimate her! The Georgia Senatorial runoff didn't go to the Dems after her working that race for the party. Were she really such a joke and with the Dems controlling Congress it is not an insignificant win.
