The Creature known as "Preacher"

so wait... I've never really paid attention to the Hammond stuff but do you mean to tell me that there is an entire show for a man who is bitter about some argument on the old Times Forum? If so can I be Scruffy in his next Carnival race?

OK.I know some of you might faint,but I thought the Preacher handled himself extremely well today on the Mailman issue. The story was treated in a fair manner and he was a class act. Hopefully that will continue.

The Creature was right back to his usual boorish behavior today as usual and you've nailed most of it. He also spent a lot of time bashing Fowler & the Mailman show for no good reason whatsoever....

Actually,I thought the "stupid preacher moment of the day" from yesterday was when he opened the show ranting about Kanye West's rudeness during that awards show. The problem was that he didn't even know how to pronounce his name correctly until a caller finally called in and corrected him. How unprepared can you get?

two things. first. i want to document that preacher has been very respectfull of dave's situation and deserves praise for that. he handled that as a class guy and i thank him on behalf of both of us.

second. these show updates are hilarious. and while i havent listened to him more than 30 mins or so this week the reason those are so funny is because i know its true. thanks guys. please keep listening and reporting, so i dont have too!

Nothing much today,not even a "stupid moment". He talked mostly about the Morton vs Munster football game which I paid little attention to. The Bimbo on Brunswick did call in to say how happy she was that the creature posted on the racist/troll board. I wonder if he plans to start spamming again? She even mentioned me by name so I guess,like Mayor McDermott, I must be doing something right. :rolfcry:

Yesterdays's show was a gold mine of 'stupid preacher moments...So let's get started....

Claimed that the Mailman's troubles are a result of a "Federal investigation". (Yeah,the Feds always run an investigation and then let the local cops make the arrest and never even issue a statement)

Claimed once again that Obama was not eligible to be POTUS because he holds "dual citizenship",then went on to claim that there are "documents out there on the Internet that can prove this". (He knows this based on an email he received)

Then went on to predict that Obama would be impeached. (yeah,I'm sure that the Democrats,with a 78 seat majority in the House will get right on that)

Then it was on to health care reform,socialism,and Communism all neatly tied together in numbnutz's mind. (Never mind that lil Stevie Glover's whole existence in life is taken care of by Government money via Medicare & Social Security.)

Last but not least, the Creature flat out blamed those 2 horrific murders in Griffith on Liberals. No ifs,ands,or buts about it! Naturally he never explained how he arrived at that insane conclusion. (It must be the fault of those liberal Indiana parole board members,where 3 of the 5 members,including the chairman and vice-chairman were appointed by Republican Mitch Daniels.)

During the show,'Victor" a liberal called in to refute the Creature's lies,and was promptly hung up on. Wingnuts,as always, were allowed to ramble on as long as they like. Free speech....Creature style!

Sorry for the lack of updates but it seems that the Creature's biggest issue the past few days is bullying "Charlie", a harmless old man that likes to call in. A professional would either take his calls or just hang up on him,but the Creature,like always,just can't let something go.

The one man trainwreck started today with the Creature complaining that his recyclable can got tossed 27 feet from where it should be. Then he went on to complain that it's some sort of conspiracy against him. (Hey dumbass,It was windy today. Lots of stuff gets blown around).

Next he complained about getting personally attacked by posting on the Times website. (Lil Stevie forgets that after I complained about his constant spamming he followed me all around that board calling me names like "communist". The parasite even wrote a song about me and played it on the air. To this day he still says "good night" to me at the end of every pathetic show of his. Time and time again the failed drifter has shown that he can certainly dish it out,but cries like a baby when someone hits back at him)

The rest of the show was devoted to playing back the interview JED had with the sheriff,with the creature taking calls from all the conspiracy theorists,none of who actually know anything about the case other than what they read in the paper. (For someone who always claims how much he like the Mayor,he sure has a funny way of showing it. The replay added nothing to the story other than fueling baseless speculation by kooks like marsha.)


Finally the Creature gave everyone a look see into his lack of character by announcing that if a friend of his was in similar circumstances like the Mailman he would wish him well and then say Adios. (The mailman hasn't been convicted of anything and there hasn't even been a court date yet,but the Creature has already convicted him apparently. What a guy )

Fowler,The Mailman & Charlie. That's what the Creature spent an hour on today. He started the show bashing the Fowler and the Mailman show,claiming they have a fixation with him. He went on to call them liars,blah,blah blah who want to drive him off the air. (As usual the failed drifter has it ass backwards. He's the one with the fixation)

10 -15 minutes tackling the all important issue of 'Charlie'. (In all the years I've listened to radio,this has to be the biggest waste of airtime ever)

The incompetent former reporter,unemployed loon,and full time Hammond basher,let's call her "Marsha", called in to let her puppet know that 'people were going after him"on the Times site in those comments sections. (How sad ) (My hat is off to those trying to fight the smears,despite the many sock puppets posting there. Keep up the good work!)

There was more useless speculating regarding the Mailman story. (Can you say :beathorse: ?)

Finally his car guys came on at 5 and mercifully the idiocy ended.

Good Evening all you Creature fans. Our hero was in rare form today and we have a full plate,so let's get started....

Before the show even started he was playing clips from from Fowler & Mailman"s Monday show. I tuned in late and actually thought they were on live. Then I realized it was simply the creature doing it. He was all over the place today,almost like something was eating at him.

The entire 1st half hour was devoted to (drum roll ) this message board and this very thread. Three members were singled out,Myself,Sparks,and Voter. Later he dragged "Oracle" into it calling him "Boracle". Our hero claims that this board was set up and dedicated to bashing him. (Never mind the fact that this board was created last December) He went on to make some threat about "knocking out my dentures. (I doubt someone that's allegedly disabled and collecting a Gov't check could actually do that,unless they're really not disabled)

Then a caller calls in and says that 'Voter" is a city official" Almost immediately "Marsha" calls in and says he's with code enforcement and then went on to her usual lie about getting a virus from this site.

Then it was on to playing the clip from Fowler & Mailman show again and desperately trying to make fun of it. (And they are the ones who are supposedly "fixated"? He never stops mentioning them)

Out of nowhere he claims that the Bachus bill will make you sign up for health care and if you don't you'll be jailed. (Well you don't have to worry,Creature,since you're on a government plan already. Remind us again why it's ok for you,but not for others to be on one)

A couple of Cows called in about 5:15 and the Creature claimed they'd be getting a "big surprise soon". (Yeah,I'm sure they'll be joining the thousands that are already behind bars for pranking radio stations )

Part II

5:30 PM Creature starts on the Charter school and calls Downtown Hammond "Bumtown Hammond". His answer is a "square" where you park your car and go from business to business. As usual he offers no plans as to how to pay for something that would cost 10's of millions. He also must have injected himself with something because he now claims that he has all these 'solutions" to Hammond's problems and that he's helped stop things that were bad for Hammond. (He has about as much influence on Hammond's affairs as his buddy "Charlie", In fact "Charlie" probably has more,since he actually owns a home and pays taxes on it,while creature lives with his Daddy)

(At some point in the future I'm going to make a case as to why a Charter school in downtown Hammiond is actually a good idea. I'm going to use an example of a very similar situation where the school,although not a Charter, and the area around it are an overwhelming success and I can completely document what I'm talking about,unlike the creature.)

Next he moves on to complaining about the Mayor and why he doesn't take freetime seriously. (Why would he take a disgruntled ex-city worker who was fired seriously? For that matter,no one else does either. I'm sure we can all recall the thrilling times on the old Times message board where she accused the Mayor of everything from "being the head of a gang of thieves" to homosexuality. IMO,it's a credit to the Mayor's patience that he even takes that nutcase's calls)

Next target "College Bound" says it should be privately financed,but as usual offers no plan as to how to actually accomplish that.

Then he goes off on a caller he calls 'Crazy Dave" who called in earlier while he was whining about this message board and said he was sick of these "radio wars".(I guess he meant Creature's constant fixation with the Fowler/Mailman show. Creature of course would have none of it as we all know too well how he responds to legitimate criticism.)

Now as the show is coming close to an end he climbs up on his pity pot and claims that Fowler and the Mailman are twisting a knife in his back. (Everyone remember those 2 guys? They're the ones who are supposedly "fixated" on him ) Then he cries about not wanting to talk about politics,blah,blah,blah. ( He said the exact same things weeks ago. We all know how that turned out,don't we )

Finally the show ends,and here's where I've got a huge beef,feel personally insulted and somewhat jealous. He always signs off "Good night Arthur Flagenheimer,where ever you are. Tonight,he added "You too,Sparky".

first preach records all of his shows...but he would have to willingly give you the audio...the station never gives out audio as a policy...if anyone listening taped it...well if they wanted to pass it along to you they could and you could do with it as you wish. as for him playing audio of our show. we dont even tape our show. so i dont have a clue where he came up with it. but hey a free plugs a plug.

second. i havent heard his show at all this week. but have been called a couple of times about various things...and even messaged about things he has supposedly been saying.

since its apparent where he seems to be going with things im going to let a little kitty (im not going to release the whole cat) out of the bag to pre-empt him. but mind you i dont have all the details so dont know for certain how everything is going to fall out.

but the big upcoming announcement at wjob that jed has been talking about is a new show that is slated for the 4-6 slot that preacher will have no part of. turns out a very good friend of jed's is going to be one of the co-hosts and for that reason im guessing preach feels it wouldnt be smart to attack that person too directly. so instead he is blaming dave and i for his misfortune.

in a way he may be right. as dave and i have by our very existence shown the station a model to make money in time slots other than the morning show and sports related broadcasting over what had been going on there in the last several years.

so preach is out of the drivetime slot. im guessing he is moving to somewhere in the midday but dont know for sure. and since he cant blame the people taking over his slot hes blaming us...in an attempt to get sympathy

but the truth is dave and i had absolutely nothing directly to do with it. its no secret i dont think we approve of his show any more than he does of ours. but honestly we dont care if he is on or what he does. its good fodder for some quick one liners occasionally. and i do still chuckle to myself when i use the preacher euphemism. but thats about all he is worth to us.

still. we bare him no ill will or malice. and wish him luck with whatever he winds up doing. through it all i feel sorry for him. he has turned himself into an almost sasha baron cohen charector come to life. he is a parody of what he wants to be. and thats something all radio personalities have to be wary of. i walked on the edge years ago on air...but was always quick to to back of it when i did politics after my old 'rants'. he has simply jumped off the cliff. its what happens when you start believing your own bs

I knew I would make it on his show at some point. I wonder what I said that pissed him off?

Wow big news. I think they should put preacher on a sports gig at 6 pm or 7 when the other show is on. That was always his best format. He was was in way over his head when it came to local politics and issues. I wish the fellow 'governor ' the best in his new time slot.
