The problem I see here is that no one knows who said what when. The CIA is saying that Pelosi was told what they were doing and didn't say anything about it, even though she couldn't say anything about it since it was classified information that she couldn't talk about with fellow senators. On the other hand, Nancy is saying that what she was told and what happened weren't the same thing and that the CIA lied to her in the briefings. Of course there is probably no paper trail to any of this so it will just be a he said/she said playground fight again in Washington.

But there IS a paper trail...hundreds of memos dating back to 2002.

Second, there are additional documents in CIA and congressional records that will remove any remaining doubt that Pelosi knew water-boarding and other EITs were being used and that further deadly terrorist attacks were thereby prevented from taking place in this country. A CIA spokesman confirmed to CNSnews.com, for example, the May 30, 2005, Justice Department memo describing how the “second wave” attack on Los Angeles was unraveled. Since President Barack Obama has already damaged national security by making public Justice Department legal memoranda to the CIA on water-boarding, no further damage will result from making public these additional documents concerning what Pelosi and other members of Congress were told and when. Such a release will end Pelosi’s nonsensical claim that she was told about the EITs but not their use.
Finally, the vast majority of Americans know the nation must first be preserved if the Constitution is to be protected. As Thomas Jefferson said, “to lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to the written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the ends to the means." Do House Democrats wish to be represented by a Speaker who most certainly does not concur in this most basic truth, and who has lied to America about her conduct in office?

I don't know how many times it has to be said. She's too busy believing that everyone here worships Obama and would never agree with her to notice that. However she's trying to say that the proof is already there. Reveal the documents then. I want to see proof that isn't second hand hearsay from an angry Conservative opinion columnist.

The Republicans’ fear: Gingrich’s call for Pelosi’s ouster has set an unattainable goal, and Cheney’s jabs at her during a speech Thursday will allow Democrats to portray the controversy as a partisan attack by one of the GOP’s most polarizing figures.
“If the story becomes about us and not her, it’s a problem for us,” said a senior Republican lawmaker.
Boehner has been working to cool off other Republicans who want Pelosi’s scalp. He fears that, if Republicans move to call for Pelosi’s ouster — as Gingrich did — before laying out a case for an investigation first, then they will have squandered a major opportunity to cut into Pelosi’s authority.
He’s not the only one worried about going too far, too fast.
“I can’t speak for [Gingrich], but I think most members of the House believe that whether it’s this issue or something else, we have a procedure if there are questions of impropriety or wrongdoing on the part of any member,” said Rep. John McHugh (R-N.Y.), ranking member of the Armed Services Committee and a former member of the intelligence committee. “If that system is gonna stay together, I think we have to respect or implement it.”
But House Democrats believe that the worst of this is now behind them — and that the double-barreled attack from Gingrich and Cheney has helped put it there.
“The best thing for anyone, let alone Nancy Pelosi, is to be the subject of a petty, venal, absurd attack by Newt Gingrich,” said Rep. Bill Delahunt (D-Mass.). “He’s the gift that keeps on giving.”
