If, as you say, separate categories of crime were committed, and they were committed against separate victims, then the perpetrator should be tried on separate counts – once for the actual physical violence against the actual, tangible victim, and second, for the crimes of intimidation against the other so-called victims, with the burden of proof on the prosecution to produce these victims, and to establish that they too were harmed.

Which would render terrorism nonexistent, since at worst it would only ever be murder manslaughter, rather than an act of violence used in an attempt to intimidate and terrorize a population into changing political policy.

I'm aware of the official position of the Catholic church on contraception, and I've stated numerous times that I don't agree with it. I am also aware that characters in a comic strip are non-existent people. So, regarding my question: Myself, I am very, very pro-female orgasm. You, I'm not so sure. But, just for the sake of argument, whose method of preventing female orgasms is preferable in the real world? Catholic or Muslim? I'll take door #1, Monty. How about you?

I'll take doors number 1 & 2 since your Muslim argument is completely off topic as usual. The fact is that the Catholic church is against all forms of contraception, thus putting a damper on sex for pleasure and therefore female orgasms.

Considering that you introduced the subject of religion and female orgasms, I don’t believe that you are in any position to charge me with being off-topic. So, you’ll take door #1 and door #2? In the context of this discussion, I can only take that to mean that you advocate both of the aforementioned methods of preventing female orgasm. Funny, I never had you pegged as a pro-clitoridectomy kind of fellow. Go figure.

What I advocate and the cartoon satirizes, is that male virgins who go to work every day in a dress,AKA Catholic bishops, have no business laying down the rules regarding female sexual and reproductive issues.

The topic of the thread is "Republicans War on Women", with a focus on domestic violence. You posted a cartoon about female orgasms vis a vis the Catholic church. Hence, I am off-topic. Yep! 1) Been listening to Rick Santorum lately or the antics of lunatic Repukes that think their latest and greatest idea is to mandate vaginal probes? 2) You also tried to steer the subject to crazy Islamics in Yemen of all places. How on earth was that relevant, einstein?

| Rush Limbaugh: I'll Buy Georgetown Women 'As Much Aspirin To Put Between Their Knees As They Want' - Quote :
- Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh drew sharp criticism from Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) and others on Wednesday when he called Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown University law student, a "slut" and a "prostitute" for publicly advocating that employers cover contraception in their health plans. But instead of apologizing for his offensive comments on his show Thursday, he geared up for round two.
Channeling Foster Friess, a main financial backer of former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) , Limbaugh said that he would "happily buy [Sandra Fluke] all the aspirin she wants" to put between her knees in lieu of contraception.
He then expanded his offer to the whole university:
"A Georgetown coed told Nancy Pelosi's hearing that the women in her law school program are having so much sex they're going broke, so you and I should have to pay for their birth control. So what would you call that? I called it what it is," he said. "So, I'm offering a compromise today: I will buy all of the women at Georgetown University as much aspirin to put between their knees as they want." - Quote :
- Limbaugh concluded his sexist rant by insisting that if women want their contraception covered, they should post pornographic videos of themselves online. "So Miss Fluke and the rest of you feminazis, here's the deal," he said. "If we are going to pay for your contraceptives and thus pay for you to have sex, we want something. We want you to post the videos online so we can all watch."

Sandra Fluke is going to be on the Ed Schultz show tonight. I hope she lawyers up and sues the hell out of that fat bastard Limbaugh.

| -I hope the Dems keep pushing this. So far I have yet to hear one elected Republican criticize Limbecile.... Democrats urge Boehner to "repudiate" comments by Limbaugh on contraception testimony - Quote :
- A group of Democratic members of Congress are continuing the political war over contraception and the latest move puts House Speaker John Boehner on the spot. Seventy-five lawmakers are urging the speaker to "repudiate" comments made by conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh.
Boehner's spokesperson declined to comment on on the letter.

| Yeah. Well the House GOP leadership is "distancing" itself from Limbaugh's comments. House GOP leaders distance themselves from Limbaugh 'slut' comments - Quote :
- House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) took the rare step Friday of criticizing radio host Rush Limbaugh, who earlier in the week called a Georgetown University law student a “slut” and a “prostitute.”
The Speaker “obviously believes the use of those words was inappropriate, as is trying to raise money off the situation,” a Boehner spokesman said.
A spokesman for Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said, "It's not language the majority leader would condone." Rush is a real ass. I understand that most of his appeal is because of his outrageousness, but these comments are really over the top. That stuff about wanting to watch videos of women having sex (as the price for providing contraception) is really sick. IMHO, he really should make a public apology to this student and to all women.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Today he was acting as if he were the victim. Here's how ignorant he is. This is from today's show: - Quote :
- On Friday, Limbaugh defended his previous comments about Fluke and complained that "not one person says that, 'Well, did you ever think about maybe backing off the amount of sex that you have?' "
Later, Limbaugh said that requiring insurance companies to cover contraception is "no different than if somebody knocked on my door that I don't know and said, 'You know what? I'm out of money. I can't afford birth-control pills, and I'm supposed to have sex with three guys tonight.' " You can read the rest of his assinine comments @ http://mediamatters.org/blog/201203010012Does he not even understand how female contraception works? It's not taken every single time you have sex, like Viagra, a drug that he's very familiar with
