No, I still have a hold in Hammond. I don't bash Hammond because I don't live there to keep an eye on a property I spent thousands turning a neighborhood eyesore into the second best on the block. I no longer had to pay rent. I was fortunate to meet with city officials and also with the HHousing Dept., where the lady helped me work out a budget. I would have exactly $25.00 left over at the end of the month. I never asked her if there were other subsidies available, which there were, but since I stuck my savings in it, I couldn't ask the city to "improve it". No welcome wagon when I got there. It was my intention to flip it immediately 2 years after I got it and move on up. I liked Hammond back then. I just didn't do my homework on the crime stats or the corruption involved. I'm sorry for that, but my time will come.

I move around a lot because I visit a lot of doctors that Indiana refused to take on my medical because of the corruption with IBM. I smelled that way long before Mitch finally caught on. Nothing made sense. Nothing. Driving around with kids that were willing to confess they stole, and even confessed it to the community peace officer and he didn't arrest them...??????

Not to mention the ride I gave a neighbor's kid to Sylvan on Indianapolis Blvd, that wanted to buy my then car, and he steals my keys and takes off running past five Hammond officers while I am screaming "stop him"? They find him, force him to give back the keys, forget to give me my license, and later when I had a neighbor call the cop to ask why the hell they took my license and let that rat-rag-head with a rap sheet go (his mom told me she was buying the car for him, if he stqyed in school and yes, he had a rap sheet with the cops). The cops didn't check out his background, he comes out with his hoodie head drawn down, and says, "she talked bad about my mama". What? What? Even if I would have, how do cops justify that it is ok for a damn rapped-sheet, trouble with the law to escape with your car keys and run inside a "Kaplan College for Rappers"? I'll never figure out that one, but the detective sure was red-faced when my brother got pizzed off and went in and told him off, and got the licebnse back for me. The kid was wanted for robbing, break ins, and yet it was me who got victimized.

You can pray all you want, like we did decades ago that Dolton would never change, thqt we could stay and fight crime. I did a damn twenty-steps ahead of the Hammond cops, the detectives telling me to run home so they could interview and arrest this one guy, only to see them giving out tickets on 169th and never knocking on my door that day to tell me what they found out. Who they fooling? YOU. All of you that go to neighborhood watch crime meetings thinking you're hearing all this and that. Try running and taking the law in your own hand, and find out the cops really didn't c ome to reality until I turned it over to the FEDS. Chief knows it, and I know it. Now they finally start acting like they should have before it got out of hand.

There are far more serious issues involved. I don't stay there, but I damn well make sure I stay long enough to keep up with the property. Just like the dead guy's house down the block where the neighbor mows the lawn, gets the mail, and changes the decoration on the door. He's dead, family lives out of town, but boy, that family ain't giving that house away.... But I'll be the first to shout out how this has affected my health, taking me away from my doctor of a decade and throwing me in the weeds where there are NO doctors. I am recuperating from a seizure. The new doctor has an answering machine he doesn't answer. He gives you an appt on a day, but you have to call between x hour and a half hour later...

Not off topic, Artie. It's bad out there. 12 years no problem one doctor. Look at Il now. The kids having babies, able bodied to work get paid more in food stamps, medical and free diapers, formula, etc. The mentally challenged, physical and older adults are being sacrified for them. That's the bottom line, and that's gotta change. I have a work history. They don't and the factoring in the work history has got to change. It shouldn't be based on "oh, you're 29 worked seven straight years, get this dope, and you get this free housing and oh, you fathered kids we will pay." Versus someone who ran businesses, worked for the gov't which didn't take out soc. security, and paid little back in the 70s for federal retirement, it would have been foolish to let the politicians suck it out of me before I retired. I worked for the post office, another no soc sec shit hole. I worked all my life. I took a lousy two year break, went to work for a huge business form manufacturing company designing your car contracts, your bank checks, etc., and the company folded. So I got NO real disability. I got SSI because out of all my life, I missed the 7 year stretch by two years out of all my life of paying taxes, soc. sec., and federal taxes. Call me a leach, but I did everything to change my life from graphic designer/printing field to medical field. I just got involved in a triple bypass, four operations on the feet, four car accident, and silverhawk's way of draining the sludge outof your legs and aorta that allows you to walk. Thank God, I would've lost my legs in one more week. I thought it was from the four car accident. Then I get lucky last January at a stop sign, a punk driving his dad's car without permission, with a revoked license, due to a DUI hits me in the back at 50 mph. Now I'm back where I started from...and I was working, volunterring at shelters hoping for a job. Fluck you, ARTIE. Stick Hammond up your azz. If it's so great...stay there and die. I ain't. Atena has always been a private insurance company and as far as I know, they don't have anything to do with Medicare/Medicade which you obviously have been using since you don't have a job and probably getting disability. Googled 'aetna medicaid' and 'aetna medicaid indiana' and it looks like they are running or admistering managed care programs in Indiana and Illinois among other places.

Why do you think IBM got fired? I did voice out about that. I played a small part in that. I have a huge file of documentation and I'm a fighter.

You are wrong with your link on AetnaHealthcare. . You must have logged on an old link. Lot's to learn. I worked all my life. I didn't get regular SSD, and I truly have a suitcase full of what went wrong exactly after returning to work after a short break and worked all the required years (besides all my life - if you take a "break", the clock starts all over - doesn't matter if you only worked 5 ears of your life, or all your life, and took a break before the streak of seven years straight, which is why you have the dope addicts on welfare). My point is, I worked all my damn life. When I became disabled, which I thought was temporary, I did sign up for college, went to school on crutches, driving myself, and hobbled in the room with the backpack. I was determined to make it in the medical field...I had the back-up, the connections, then bam, the four car accident. There's no use repeating all that happened, but I didn't go out and have ten babies or become an octomom or sell my eggs. I could have.

Anyway, went to this doctor yesterday. The fact I missed one and a half day's worth of one pill had no bearing on going into a seizure. This doctor I paid out of my own pocket. I know my health and body. The head is NOT working right, and I'll be the first to admit and apologize to you all. It turns out = accident. Getting hit at 50 mph., and trying to find a doctor willing to bill the guy's car insurance...and instead of ordering the MRI, he looked at my x-ray, refused to compare it to MRIs and x-rays in the past, and said to go see his "friend" for medication, strained neck that calls for 3x a week therapy for 6 weeks or more. Yeah? So the guy's insurance is gonna pay? No. Who goes to physical therapy when you don't know if nerves were severed or why the pressure in your head? Not the right doctor. My son and his friend were petrified...the parametics stood there watching my son trying to revive It's on camera...he and his friend put me on the gurney and started screaming at the paramedics. It's on tape, and now I have another story to add to a story. It's b.s. I actually don't remember but very little, my son pounding on my chest where the wire holds the chest cage together, I screamed he said, and otherwise was limpless and eyes closed. He ordered the lawyer to supeona the tapes from Walmart to add to the car accident case. Guardian angels do and have watched over me.

Amy, I apologize. I don't expect you to forgive me, but I went through so much, and there are so many wrongs that need to be righted since they falsely arrested me in Hammond. It all has occurred since a month after my dad died, when that happened, and it was all against police protocol and had a terrible affect on me, I am at the point where, I'm fighting back. I paid out over $400.00 for meds that are required outside the psyo that Aetna has to reimburse me for. They did pay for the hospital bills in Dec. and January and finally admitted to my sis in law they have no doctors in my area willing to sign up for Aetna to eliminate medicaid. So I got to the bottom of it, and contacted the Civil Rights Division, and now I will get reimbursed wherever I go. Because the plan without a plan is on the "WatchDog" List and it's been brought to the public's attention. There is one aunt taking care of a speechless, blind, cerebal palsey niece, who's mom died. She said with stacks of binders, no way in heck is she going to travel 100 miles away where doctor's don't know or care...they give you ten minutes and tell ya they have 25 other patients in line and get it "overwith, what ya need?" B.S. It's Obamacare. You are on the death panel unless you take your health in your own hands. The money goes right back into the state, so who's stealing? The politicians. Any doctor will tell you the amount of paperwork involved in Medicaid was huge enough. The paperwork for Aetna? It's b.s. for a doctor to have to call a case-care-coordinator to ask if it's ok to give you a vitamin even. As if doctors have the time to call up for permission from some slacky black or white azz that has no damn degree in medicine, but must give the ok to a dr to say, "Yeah, well, we will support that, or, NO, we can't cover that". It's bullshitz. I'll gladly pay my own way. I am not going to settle for a half-azz doctor.
