JCMt'S observations OF WHO CONTRIBUTED TO MAYOR'S CAMPAIGN!!! Whoo!!!!

A hundred here, a hundred there....as if he didn't work on Friays, at Purdue. As if he didn't have people outside of the city contributing one hundred here, a hundred there.

Here's what I contributed: $00.00. Guess what, though, I got a new few feet of side walk that was deemed corrosive, and dangerous. A few feet that probably cost a hell of a lot of money.

I got a dead tree cut down.

I got cops checking in to see if I am ok.

For nothing. But you know what? I'm gonna contribute what I can afford...because all it took was a call to city hall. I didn't harrass. I asked.

I have a woman who is my precinct captain that cares if I am scared...and makes sure I am covered...she cares enough to take the time out to send e-mails about crime in the area.

I didn't contribute to Mayor McDermott's campaign fund...but I sure as hell will for what little I have in my pocket and give all I got to campaign for free. Because I care.

I love the fact that people find so many things negative, but hesitate to volunteer to make things positive.

Citing numbers is b.s. Unless you go out and see for yourself...you can cite and bitch all you want behind that screen.

Point is, I never contributed for things/services, and from day one, from garbage men, to the code enforcement, to the precinct captain...I know I am taken care of beyond their duty.

I didn't have to contribute a dime to their campaigns, and if I find I can't, I'll volunteer.

You guys may see negative; I see positive. Where the hell else ya gonna go?

Where my bro bought a 300,000 dollar house in a cul-de-sac with three divorces on both sides and three houses in foreclosure?

That doesn't cost anything; just your time and effort.

Laugh all you want, JCMT and FT...you two sit and talk and that's all you will get back...even less.

It is the job of local government to pick up the garbage, keep the streets in good repair, provide professional law and fire protection and enforce building codes. Those services are paid for with your property taxes. You shouldn't feel like you need to make a campaign donation to receive them. If you ever feel like you are being asked for money, find out the person's name and call the Mayor's office. Conversely, if you feel like your Mayor or councilman is doing a great job, make a contribution to their campaign, I'm sure it will be appreciated. This time of year, I make sure to reward the people who do actually do the work like the garbage men.My wife and I also increase our charitable giving to NWI food bank,Haven House and Salvation army. This year, we bought a present for "Angel Tree" which provides gifts to children who have parents that are incarcerated. We also donated to Operation Shoebox, which sends care packages to our troops.I'm sure you have many gifts to give, Jeanie, be grateful for all the gifts God has given you and pay it forward.

I will resume at Haven House in January, donating clerical work. And, I voluntarily will help with someone running for council.

Yet, FT files a false police report, and files a false claim report in Gary, IN, while pointing fingers...and wanting to know where X amount of dollars go....

The same way her "X" amount goes...right back into the gov't, playing slots.

Trying to associate time slots for posting? Where are you in this 21st century? I usually see the garbage guys running their trucks for McDonald's before breakfast, and pull out once someone brings out the orders by Menards...eating while driving. Shall we sue them for that, since cell phones are banned...after all, my goodness, out the door without breakfast before FreeCash wakes up...

Norma, Tiger1 may be a dear friend of yours, but she is a typical low information American who supports and votes for Tea Party candidates. From what I have read, one theme that is in the platform of every Tea Party candidate is they want to "privatize" Social Security. The real motive behind privatizing social security is the billions of dollars that corporations will save if they no longer have to pay their share of employee payroll taxes. Social Security is an insurance program that has benefited generations of Americans. For someone like Tiger1 who is collecting benefits from Social Security to support candidates who want to dismantle the system is the height of absurdity. She may be your friend, but she is clueless.

Just noticed JCMT's time slots where supposedly people were posting on the job.

Most were posted after their shit(f's) ended. Who is to say they were on the job...they may have been on break..point is, their shift ends around 2:30 p.m. - Right.

I haven't seen them even at McDonald's getting a snack since Menard's been closed up.

I also would like to ask FreeAsh if she has the money to hire someone to prove they were using city based computers during or especially after working hours.

So far, I see mostly after their shifts ended, and JCMT, you are really dumber than stupid or dumber.
