| Subject: Missouri Teabaggers: "Save our pupply mills!" 10/8/2010, 8:25 am | |
| Awesome. They are so enamored with the conservative narrative that they see any government regulation as evil, some part of a nefarious socialist plot or conspiracy, to the point where teabaggers are now rallying to the defense of their state's awful puppy mill industry: - Quote :
- A conservative group in Missouri is picking up the backing of the Tea Party and Joe The Plumber in its quest to stop the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and other animal rights groups from passing "radical" anti-puppy mill legislation.
The measure, which can be read in full here, is called Proposition B or the "Puppy Mill Cruelty Prevention Act." It aims to help eliminate the "3000 puppy mills" in Missouri that constitute "30% of all puppy mills in the U.S.," according to Michael Markarian, the Chief Operating Officer of the HSUS. The Socialist Manifesto in question can be read here, though its not recommended unless armed with a Bible and a picture of Reagan, lest the liberals taker your guns while you're distracted. It lays out there plan of a socialist government takeover quite clearly, since it forces dog owners to: - Quote :
- provide each covered dog:
(1) Sufficient food and clean water;
(2) Necessary veterinary care;
(3) Sufficient housing, including protection from the elements;
(4) Sufficient space to turn and stretch freely, lie down, and fully extend his or her limbs;
(5) Regular exercise; and
(6) Adequate rest between breeding cycles. Clearly they hate America. | |
