According to a new Washington Post/ABC News poll, the Pledge to America was a net negative for the GOP -- though most people asked about it have no idea what it is. Of 1002 adults surveyed, only 34 percent had heard that Republicans in Washington had signed something called the Pledge to America. Of those 34 percent who knew about it, most didn't care at all. But only 23 percent of that subset said the Pledge would make them more likely to vote Republican in the November midterms. By contrast, 29 percent said the Pledge would make them less likely to vote GOP this fall.
That compares unfavorably to an October 1994 poll Pew conducted when Republicans introduced the Contract with America. Back then fewer people had heard of the Contract in the first place (29-71) and most who had heard of it weren't swayed in either direction. But of those who were, slightly more said they were likelier to vote Republican as a result of the Contract than said they were less likely.

Still avoiding any actual discussion here and in other topics. Typical, Robin.
You could perhaps tell us why you disagree with the video... at least pretend you're not here for the usual trolling.

What kills me is the line "Don't spend on things you can't pay for",meanwhile they're for making the Bush tax cuts permanent.
