Gee, what a different generation...even though I am as close in age as the POTUS.
When you were growing up, having a birthday party meant people brought you gifts they wanted to give.
Not so with the people elected to their already position....it comes with a price.
This is exactly why I favor 2 year term limits...after the 2 term limit, it turns into greed, and "gimme, gimme" and corruption.
And then..."I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine". Where do you think he gets the money to fly around raising jack for other Democrats and then tells the public, "I feel your pain...it wasn't long ago, Michelle and I were high in credit cards, the money we socked in the stock market kept going up and down....and then we wondered about college for our children".

Sneed hears real estate mogul Neil Bluhm is tossing a private birthday party here for President Obama, who turns 49 on Aug. 4.

• The shocker: The dinner invite to the Barack bash at Bluhm's home requires a $30,000 donation to the Democratic National Committee!
• The stunner: Obama is also scheduled to be in town Aug. 5 for a fund-raiser at the Palmer House for U.S. Senate hopeful Alexi Giannoulias, who is hoping to capture Uncle Rocky's old seat.
So I assume whatever money he pulls in, he'll divert it to the A.Giannoulias fundraiser. Amazing how birthday parties are now requiring you to attend and pay "x" amount of money.
Wonder if Chelsea Clinton would demand the same on her wedding invitation.
Pure, political B.S. He pulled in millions way before he got to be POTUS.
I don't care if you guys agree with me or not. I'm not for the R or D label. I'm sick of this b.s. when next month he's going on vacation again - in Gulf - a tactic he uses for not being on the job, behind the desk...just like Blago.
The people are sick of this crap. They have another concert scheduled next week - when is enough - enough?
If he wanted to party - he should have stayed in the Senate seat and just partied and do nothing, like the rest of the mob in Chicago.
For once, I would like a damn leader in this country that keeps his word.
Offers a NEW job to that woman that was accused of discriminating against a white farmer that backed her up and said she helped him save his farm.
See how easily they can come up with NEW jobs, rather than just reinstate her in her old job...while millions go without that opportunity.
Guess what? We're the wrong color or we don't have relatives connected to the empty "all of a sudden new positions" in the gov't field.
