And if you happen to be a staffer for a Democrat who votes YES ... you’d better get a head start on your friends. Ever try to line up a moving company when thousands of other staffers are trying to move on the same weekend?

I think if he had gotten rid of the illegals first...the chances would be greater.

As it is now, they can't (the states) keep up with the bills on Medicare, Medicaid and Education. Had he tackled the immigration first, which is the real drain...I don't think it would have taken so long to try and reform the repayment an the insurance industries.

I know the premiums are up and going up, but these poor doctors are sick of working for nothing.

My cousin's daughter is an OB, paying thousands in insurance in New York, paying two thousand for a one room apt. She's struggling saving babies with parents who have no insurance.



She's only 31, thousands and thousands in debt from borrowing to go to medical school, lives in a squaler, and for what? To deliver babies free, and risk her insurance.



Her siblings were going to be a psychologist...she is now living with the OB sister. She can't get reimbursement in PA, though she holds several degrees.

Their brothr wanted to be an astronaut...originially a surgeon. He holds three masters, and his future is up in the air at 24.

They all took college courses during high school breaks...only to find out they may have wasted their money. It's sad.

Each owe or owned 20,000 in gov't loans...their father has a masters in pharmacy, and has not taken a vacation in years, so he could take the vacation pay to help them pay their loans off.

I don't know what the answer is, even when we end up with the pros and they are forced into this health bill, not knowing the outcome.


Obama squashed the dream of a rocket scientist, suspending the NASA program...perhaps our high school drop-outs have better aspiraions.

They don't need a degree in killing and living off the ones that suffered to be who they are or wante to be.


Except there are bills to be paid, prices to pay, and who saves the gangbanger at the end? My cousin and his three kids with the education without the pay and rewards. Something needs to change.

Can you get it through your head that this has nothing to do with illegals? But when he does tackle immigration you're won't be happy either. You do realize that shipping over 12,000,000 people,and that's a conservative estimate,back to their originating country will be impossible,don't you?

12 million illegals getting free medical, housing and food stamps.

Not to mention among them, how many in prisons?

Get rid of them, and how much do you think it will save the country?

Especially when they fear filling out the census, that means less money from the Feds and more money out of the taxpayers' pockets.

Settle Down & Pay Attention!

There is No Federal Funding For Abortion in this bill. The pro-life Democrats who were concerned about the issue made sure that would not happen.

I heard that was the major reason the Republicans would not vote yah, and I'm so glad to hear this abortion issue will remain the same. Not funded. Thanks everyone. I get very emotional about abortions.


Especially when you hear sad tales of couples that want kids, willing to pay thousands to adopt, and it breaks my heart that someone can easily get pregnant, toss them in the garbage, get abortions, or just plain old abandon and hurt them. So many couples in the want ads...I could not support public tax-paying abortions. It would just make them (the idiots) not care whether or not to use protection, cuz then the "gov't will take care of it..."
