The very fact that Harry Reid cannot back up his accusations is all the proof necessary to prove that he is lying.

It's impossible for Sen Reid to back up his claims al long as Mittens chooses not to release his tax returns. Now....Any answer to this? - Quote :
- Fact:Mitt Romney released over 20 years of tax returns to John McCain while being vetted for VP in 2008.
Why will he not extend the same courtesy to the American voting public that he gave to McCain? Care to explain why? We know Mittens required Lyin Ryan to submit 10 years of his returns. Shouldn't Mitt show his?

It seems to me that the cowboy-poetry lovin' senator should have the information to back up his claims in hand before he makes such claims. Don't you? Otherwise, he should STFU, lest he risk making a complete ass of himself, as he has.

He can't as long as Mittens refuses to release his tax returns. Ya have to wonder why Mittens would pass up a golden opportunity to prove to the voters that the Democratic Senate Majority Leader is lying about him. It would be a perfect way to drown out the the 47% topic. Fox news and wingnut radio could go on non-stop about it,yet Mittens refuses to release those records. One can only conclude that he's hiding something. 3rd try... - Quote :

Whether you like it or not, the burden of proof always -always - falls upon the accuser. Since no one has seen Romney's full tax records, no one, including the constipated cowboy poet, could possibly know what they contain. So, until Dingy Harry steps forward with more than his dick in his hand, the only reasonable conclusion to be reached is that he is lying. Incidentally, please keep harping on these tax records. The only ones who care about them are those who are not intending to vote for Romney anyway.

He has no credibility whatsoever. Wrong again. There is no evidence that Harry is lying crapsack. Cry, bitch, moan all you want, it hasn't been proven one way or the other. However THERE IS is evidence that on the topic of Mitt Romney's taxes, your boy, Mitt Romney is indeed a lying crapsack and has no credibility whatsoever. That's a fact. - Quote :
- Between April 2002 through June 2002, Mitt Romney, knowingly, willingly and with forethought intentionally lied to the People of Massachusetts regarding his 1999-2001 Tax Returns when he falsely claimed to the MA People that he had listed Massachusetts as his residency on his 1999-2001 Federal and State Tax Returns.
It has been proven over and over that Mitt Romney, the guy YOU are voting for, is pathological liar. I don't understand how anybody could vote for a lying crapsack like Mitt Romney.

Well, then - that's horrible enough to make me change my mind and vote for Obama! Heh, yeah right Your boy lied in order to get a $54,000 tax break which of course is not even chump change to him. He thinks $350,000 is not a lot of money. - Quote :
For months and months, between April 2002 - June 2002, Romney and his campaign said, "trust me when I tell you that my 1999-2001 Tax Returns listed Massachusetts as my Residency."
By declaring himself a Utah resident rather than a Massachusetts resident in 1999 and 2000, gubernatorial candidate Mitt Romney might have saved on his taxes if he had substantial short-term capital gains, analysts said yesterday; otherwise, Utah residency would have provided him no obvious tax benefits. Utah doesn't differentiate between capital gains and regular income, which means Romney would have paid the top 7 percent tax rate on all of the earnings as a resident there. Massachusetts, on the other hand, taxes gains from investments held less than a year at 12 percent and hits longer-term capital gains at a sliding scale that falls to zero for investments held six years or more. ~ Boston Globe, June 8, 2002 "Tax Benefit Unclear and Candidate Mum" (Boston Globe requires subscription for complete article, sorry) The same article reports When it came to light that [Romney] had gained a $54,000 tax break by claiming his Utah home as his primary residence, [Romney] said that that filing was the result of a clerical error. When reporters questioned whether he'd also profited on his income taxes by declaring Utah residency, Romney first said that he would respond to questions posed in writing. When those questions were submitted. ~ Boston Globe, 6/8/02, "Tax Benefit Unclear and Candidate Mum" http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/08/17/1121206/-Ex-Fox-s-Major-Garrett-Never-Knew-Romney-Caught-Lying-On-1999-2001-Tax-Returns You're voting for not only a lying crapsack but also for a proven tax cheat....priceless.

| An unscripted Rombot moment Romney Wonders Why Airplane Windows Don't Open - Quote :
- The Los Angeles Times reports Mitt Romney spoke about the concern he had for his wife when her plane had to make an emergency landing Friday because of an electrical malfunction.
Said Romney: "I appreciate the fact that she is on the ground, safe and sound. And I don't think she knows just how worried some of us were. When you have a fire in an aircraft, there's no place to go, exactly, there's no -- and you can't find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don't open. I don't know why they don't do that. It's a real problem. So it's very dangerous. And she was choking and rubbing her eyes. Fortunately, there was enough oxygen for the pilot and copilot to make a safe landing in Denver. But she's safe and sound."

True, but by refusing to release more years he sure looks like he's hiding something and that's going to continue to hurt him with voters. Considering he's been running for Pres for the last 6 years you would think that he'd be smart enough to get his taxes in order. Instead greed won out. OTOH,maybe it's too much to expect from a guy that thinks Airplanes should have windows that open

| Analysis: For Romney, some troubling signs among older voters - Quote :
- (Reuters) - Even before his running mate was booed by a lobbying group for older Americans on Friday, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was losing support among such voters, whose backing is crucial to his hopes of winning the November 6 election.
New polling by Reuters/Ipsos indicates that during the past two weeks - since just after the Democratic National Convention - support for Romney among Americans age 60 and older has crumbled, from a 20-point lead over Democratic President Barack Obama to less than 4 points.
Romney's double-digit advantages among older voters on the issues of healthcare and Medicare - the nation's health insurance program for those over 65 and the disabled - also have evaporated, and Obama has begun to build an advantage in both areas.
Voting preferences among seniors could change in the final six weeks of the campaign, but the polling suggests that a series of recent episodes favoring Obama and the Democrats could be chipping away at Romney's support among older Americans. This is huge trouble for Rombot & Co.

It is hard to find consensus as to whether airplanes may have windows that open, as safety regulations concerning such things are different in all 57 states.

| Stick another fork in Mittens... Romney: Deductions could be cut - Quote :
- Offering tax reform ideas before his first debate with President Barack Obama, Mitt Romney says he might be willing to reduce income tax deductions used by millions of families for home mortgage interest and health care costs
Romney suggested the changes could be part of a plan that includes a 20 percent cut in tax rates across the board, continuation of upper income tax cuts that Obama wants to end, and a comprehensive tax overhaul plan that the Republican presidential contender has yet to flesh out in detail. Romney says his overall plans would invigorate the slowly recovering U.S. economy.

| Mitt Romney tries to do science! And predictably fails... Conspiracy-targeted Campaigning from Romney - Quote :
- Slate has an interesting article about Romney campaign mailings that appear to contain buzzwords for chronic Lyme disease advocates in Virginia. Romney’s plan for Lyme disease includes these two points:
- Quote :
- IMPROVE SYNERGY
Ensure that government agencies have an open line of communication and work with patients, researchers, doctors, and businesses in an objective, comprehensive manner.
SUPPORT TREATMENT Encourage increased options for the treatment of Lyme Disease and provide local physicians with protection from lawsuits to ensure they can treat the disease with the aggressive antibiotics that are required. Note the “aggressive antibiotics” line. This refers to a bogus medical practice of prescribing long courses of antibiotics, often in IV form, for “chronic Lyme” syndrome. While people can have chronic complications of actual Lyme disease, another, crankier disease entity has been promoted by irresponsible doctors who treat a syndrome similar to fibromyalgia, or chronic fatigue, or maybe even depression, with long-term IV antibiotics. These treatments are administered at their own clinics, usually without insurance paying for it (insurance companies can smell this BS and won’t cover it), at great expense because IV antibiotics cost a lot more to administer, and often without evidence of Lyme infection by tests or history.
This has been a season of bizarre political conspiracy mongering with everything from birtherism from Mitt Romney, Sheriff Joe’s craziness, magic Kenyan Telegrams, Aurora conspiracies, job numbers conspiracies, polling conspiracy theories from America’s least-accurate pollster Dick Morris, and my favorite Obama is buying bullets for the Social Security Administration to kill all Americans conspiracy theory. Now, rather than coming up with Obama conspiracies it looks like they’re trying to solicit vocal conspiracy theorists who think the pharma/CDC/infectious disease society illuminati are trying to suppress a bogus diagnosis their doctor has successfully treated by emptying out their wallets. 'Cause, you know... fuck those elitist smart people doctors and their medical boards. Romney knows better!
