I'm amazed that no one sensed the humor in your topic. I laugh almost always at the Times' announcement of what they call news, by the headlines.

Oh, I get ya, Happy Jack. I laugh out loud at the stupid headlines..only to find out the headlines are really a lack of journalism.

Ya gotta laugh at these headlines...they are HARD UP.

The best one is the Texas Rangers serving up two-foot long hotdogs. Hot-diggity-dog!

I crack up more when Sparks chimes in. That makes it even funnier, even though it has been quite some time.

The guy has hidden pride.... but, an openly, defensive pride. Blame the Times, Sparks.

I feel so sorry for Sparks who seems to see no humor in things. I hope his daughter provides 12 grandchildren for him to dote over.....and travels with those kids and pays out of his pocket for those grandkids so they can see the world.
