This quote also goes a long way in explaining the current liberal need for euphemisms. Were liberals to be truly honest and call something what it actually is, very few sane people would ever agree with them. Before the success of the surge in Iraq, “running away with our tails between our legs” was repackaged as “redeployment”. A .22 varmint gun that fires successive shots without the need for re-cocking or reloading is now an “assault rifle”. A street thug in now a “disenfranchised youth”. Killing a baby is now lovingly referred to as either "reproductive freedom," "a woman's right to control her own body," "terminating a pregnancy," "freedom of choice," "a woman's own private medical decision," "a procedure," "access to health care," "family planning," "our bodies, our selves," or "choice."

HUH? Apparently all the studying I have been doing has sucked up all available brain cells as I don't quite get what you meant- if that was meant as funny, you meant something else...etc...

I am asking how much money was spent under the Bush admin and if anyone has a link (prob should be asking in another post but the thought came with Arties comment)...

I thought you meant how much time Greenspan served under Bush.

I don't know how much Bush spent overall,but for starters the Iraq war was over 1 trillion.
