I feel so sad for those kids. Too bad some of the Hammond people don't volunteer to help out. Our school has college mentors and tutors as well as community mentors
And where is George? This and 2 high schools in danger of being taken over by the state. What solutions or ideas has he proposed? Why isn't he doing the job he was ELECTED to do? Oh yeah, he's playing politics over the river.
come on give george a break. i mean it takes a lot of time organizing anti mcdermott i mean conservancy district meetings throughout the county. and campaigning? what u guys think he can just wave a wand and get those 225 voters to go to the polls for him like they did in may? and then theres the coffee he has to brew for the team hammond meetings and all those left over polish sausages that premeske stuck him with...not to mention all the self help books wes wants him to sell. and needing to look for a new place to live (hey george ask premeske i hear he has a few addresses available)
the schools? the one thing i can give george credit for is he never promised to do one thing for the schools. from day 1 hes been pretty upfront the school board election was about him seeking higher office. the kids clearly never mattered to him.
