I have a huge problem with any member of the media proclaiming that they hope that our President "fails". I also believe that many of the corporations that buy advertising on Rush's radio show are going to be opposed to his sentiments. I think you hold him accountable for what he says on the air.

Didn't he also sleep over in the Lincoln Bedroom at the behest of Bush 41? Meanwhile the majority of Americans see right through him.....

Just for the record, what I have heard Rush say is I hope Obama's "socialist" policies fail. As I had said before to Ohhmama, the word Socialist is being batted all around, and is being completely misused. There has not been a case of "Socialism" yet in this country with all the bail outs etc...

Seems to me, that falls under the First Amendment, and he has the right to say that he hopes he fails

It does fall under that, but he has the right to say it as well

This is no different than what Jesse Jackson said on Fox News when the camera's were off, or when Rush said that the NFL wants McNabb to succeed in the NFL because he is black.

Both were inappropriate, but they had the right to say it

He certainly does have the right to say it and personally I hope he continues. Americans are fed up with the partisan attacks and voted for change. Apparently Limbaugh hasn't gotten the message. The more he plays to the base,the more reasonable people are going to leave the Repub party.

Just because people may leave the Repub party doesn't necessarily mean they'll jump to the dark side. (joke- haha)

Personally I'm sick of the RINO's in office but that doesn't mean I'm going to become a Democrat.
