Me thinks this is a very impressive win for McDermott & Fajman

Fajman had the support of the Hammond precinct organization and Hammond Mayor Thomas McDermott Jr., the county Democratic chairman. Maldonado was backed by East Chicago Mayor George Pabey, County Commissioner Roosevelt Allen, Sheriff Rogelio "Roy" Dominguez and Surveyor George Van Til.

IT is impressive. It shows that Gary and East Chicago no longer control politics in this county.

what amazes me is the detractors in hammond would rather side with east chicago politicians and the old guard of county politicians that protected them and that history of corruption, over thier own mayor, who has had such great success and is widely acclaimed.

To show you just how low he could go,the Creature today insinuated that McDermott is a racist,by mentioning the idiotic allegations and then claiming he didn't know if they were true.

The detractors on the times are upset that I have been reporting their abusive comments and the admin is removing them.

Over 10 since yesterday. That says a lot about the type of comments being posted. I invite you all to join me. If the comment is an out and out lie or stretching of the truth, the comments will be removed. You don't see incumbents doing that to challengers.
