Give me a break...I am racial stereotyping? You clowns have been whining about my European roots for about a year...Where the hell do you get off? You should proofread some of the shit you post. And try not to play dumb. There are about five of you that bring it up. I ignore it, but make one remark and BAM it's in my lap...advce to all of you: Go to hell... You're the one who brought up your 'European Upbringing" in the first place. The fact that you have a serious problem remembering what you post is not our fault. So the fact that I was born and raised in Malta is grounds for bottom dwellers like yourself to attempt to use it against me? I doubt it. I am proud of where I came from. In fact, I visit there every other year. Malta does have a great healthcare system that is superior to the for profit system in this country. I'm surprised that someone who has firsthand experience with such a good, government run system would so opposed to setting up a similar system here. Malta has a long history of providing of socialized healthcare. The first hospital recorded in the country was already functioning by 1372.[61] Today, Malta has both a public healthcare system, known as the government healthcare service, where healthcare is free at the point of delivery, and a private healthcare system.[62][63] Malta has a strong general practitioner-delivered primary care base and the public hospitals provide secondary and tertiary care. The Maltese Ministry of Health advises foreign residents to take out private medical insurance.[64]
Malta was ranked number five in the World Health Organization's ranking of the world's health systems,[65] well above the United States (at 37), Australia (at 32), and Canada (at 30).http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malta#Healthcare

Artie is black? It doesn't matter one way or the other to me, but I honestly didn't know that.
Neither did I Now you deny that you're black? (Doubt we'll get an answer) When did I ever claim to be Black?

Maybe, just maybe I know more about it than you... Apparently you know very little about it, since according to the World Health Organization,Malta's health care system was ranked 5th,while ours was ranked 37th. http://www.photius.com/rankings/healthranks.html

| How can you possibly speak of your childhood favorably after growing up in such an evil, evil, socialist nation? Malta must be a clone of Nazi Germany by this time, like Glenn Beck and the townhallers have been warning us... | |

If they could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, just 25% of voters nationwide would keep the current batch of legislators.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 57% would vote to replace the entire Congress and start all over again. Eighteen percent (18%) are not sure how they would vote. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/general_politics/august_2009/57_would_like_to_replace_entire_congress You left this out.... - Quote :

Ever been there? Then shut up! So a national healthcare plan isn't a move towards becoming the next Nazi Germany or socialism contrary to what the conservative media claims. That's what I've been saying! Thanks for clearing that up. Glad to see you'll be shouting down such ridiculous conservative hyperbole when you see it, too.

I've already asked you if you actually believe this statement at least twice. You can ignore the question if you wish, but I figured I'd give you one last chance to respond. All of us occasionally regret the way we worded something... if that's the case, then you should just say so...

I believe the topic is: Beware of Rasmussen "Presidential Approval Index" If you are determined to bash me, why not start a "Let's Beat The Shit Out of Lois Thread"...you seem to do it whenever I post, why not start a thread and leave it in a spot that I will ignore...Otherwise, keep "beating" yourself. |

Seriously? That was a bashing? I am just curious what you thought of the National Healthcare as End of Democracy/Beginning of a Nazi/Socialist Hellscape argument being painted by Glenn Beck and a lot of conservatives now that I know that you have firsthand knowledge that it’s anything but.

On National Healthcare...We (the U.S.) don't need healthcare REFORM...we need healthcare REGULATION. That should be the only involvement that the government should take. |

Why? Why? I'll give you three "Why's"... 1. Social Security 2. The U.S. Postal Service 3. Medicare ...and, as an added bonus... 4. The Internal Revenue Service ...plus... 5. Stimulus Checks to Convicts |

Huh? Have you been drinking? Both examples of mine clearly show that Malta's is better than ours.

The government shouldn't get involved (other than regulating it) because they'll really screw it up. |
