Taiwan Gets Goodwill Panda?

So China is basically like here Taiwan have two pandas. Most bizarre gesture of goodwill I've ever heard of.

Paul, pandas are believed to be a symbol of peace and good fortune.

At this point in time in our lives if a panda bear brings peace, then I'm all for them sending the "lil' cuddly bears" around the world!
