Did I tell ya? Wink

Now all that bailout money is looking like it's gone down the drain. This forced shutdown is far from the cure, but you notice there's no mention yet of the offshore plants closing?

As many of us have said the UAW supported Obama expecting their jobs to be saved by him & the Dems. It turns out we was right that it only made their job loss inevitable because the Dems in power now haven't a clue how to make money. All they know is how to pass it out with a blank check in hand. Evil or Very Mad

ALL of these companies should have been allowed to fail. It was their bad business practices that has put them under, and the taxpayers should not have been expected to bail them out. If an ordinary citizen screws up their finances, the government isn't going to come running for bailout money for them.

Looks like the madness has spread over to Canada as well. Or are we now bailing out private company plants outside of our own country too? Shocked

April 23 (Bloomberg) -- The Canadian and Ontario governments are in talks with the U.S. Treasury and automotive executives to provide as much as $6 billion in bankruptcy financing to General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC, the Globe and Mail reported.

Canada would provide as much as 15 percent of the $40 billion fund, which would help the two automakers through the initial phases of protection from creditors, the Globe said, citing unidentified people.

The talks are in “final stages,” the paper said.

Ok like I said we're just sucking them in too for a few bucks while bailing out foreign plants with our own money.
