Let's make it about outdoor grilling; that's more fun anyway. I use a gas grill. I once was a pure charcoal enthusiast but I am used to the convenience of gas now.

If I am going to do a true barbeque (long cook time at low heat) I like charcoal. For everyday grilling I use gas and maybe wrap some mesquite in foil for the smoke.

Great slow cooked,barbecued ribs transcend all political boundaries. I'm really not sure what to make of the fact that this year I'm considering going here for vacation. I'm missed the first running of the pigs on 1/20/2009 in Washington, so I'd really like to check out this event in Reno. Maybe I can enter a pig in a wheelchair and call him "Cheney".

Lovelock is a little too pessimistic, even for me. I don't see AGW as having such a sudden and drastic impact on the planet's food supply this century.
