Charcoal is the Answer!

A leading scientist says nothing we can do will prevent climate change except producing huge amounts of charcoal. Here is the link:

I thought that 42 was the answer?

No, that's the answer to life, the universe, and everything. Charcoal is the answer to climate change.

Oh, I was hoping this was a forum on outdoor grilling... shucks...

Let's make it about outdoor grilling; that's more fun anyway. I use a gas grill. I once was a pure charcoal enthusiast but I am used to the convenience of gas now.

If I am going to do a true barbeque (long cook time at low heat) I like charcoal.
For everyday grilling I use gas and maybe wrap some mesquite in foil for the smoke.

All this talk about barbeque has me thinking about some slow cooked ribs!

Great slow cooked,barbecued ribs transcend all political boundaries. I'm really not sure what to make of the fact that this year I'm considering going here for vacation. Lovelock is a little too pessimistic, even for me. I don't see AGW as having such a sudden and drastic impact on the planet's food supply this century.
