If nobody has anything to say about the events in Charlottesville, then I see no reason for this forum.

I'm out.  If somebody else wants to run this forum, contact me and I'll pass over the job to you. If nobody responds, I'm going to shut it down for good - two weeks from today.

My first thought on the Charlottesville incident is that it is unfortunate that the prosecution feels it is unable to charge the driver with first degree murder rather than second.
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for those who formerly participated in this forum to respond. They have presumably found another forum, one in which they may engage in "intelligent discussions", i.e., discussions in which no one disagrees with them, and no one offers unpalatable views, i.e., views which are alternative to theirs. It appears that they have found their safe space. If you Google www.Snowflake.com, it is entirely possible you may run across some of their postings.

"Clumsily" is being charitable. This guy is clearly unfit to be the President of the United States.  I really don't expect him to complete his first term. Do you?

There's nothing I have to add that wasn't already said back in 2009 when happy lost his shit over the DHS' assessment that Neo-Nazis were recruiting ex-military.  

The old, ridiculous "Obama Hates the Troops" thread.  Nothing's changed, except the body count.  But they're not fetuses, so happy couldn't give a shit less.

Seriously though...Trump has shown himself to be a racist,fraud,phony,pathological liar and the list could go on and on. He is a danger to our democracy and to our way of life.

Why I haven't been posting? Well about 99% of the time I agree with both Heretic & Scorpion on every issue. Same goes for Chuck Mo when he occasionally pops in.

That leaves the house troll. A lazy under-informed simpleton that has no interest in an honest discussion. I have no interest in responding to any of the garbage he posts along with the inevitable unending follow-up questions that lead nowhere. It's simply beneath me, and insults my intelligence.

I occasionally lurk to see if Heretic takes apart one of the troll's beliefs but even he has pretty much disappeared. Get to work,Heretic!
