I guess being a "war corespondent" for a month exceeded his attention span. Now he's a political advisor? LMAO! Perfect fit for the party who thinks they should be more like Sarah Palin.
Joe the Plumber advises GOP-ers Alex Isenstadt Alex Isenstadt Mon Feb 2, 7:26 pm ET
Fresh off his stint as a war correspondent in Gaza, Joe the Plumber is now doing political strategy with Republicans.
When GOP congressional aides gather Tuesday morning for a meeting of the Conservative Working Group, Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher – more commonly known as Joe the Plumber — will be their featured guest. This group is an organization of conservative Capitol Hill staffers who meet regularly to chart GOP strategy for the week.
Wurzelbacher, who became a household name during the presidential election, will be focusing his talk on the proposed stimulus package. He's apparently not a fan of the economic rescue package, according to members of the group.
If nothing else, GOP aides are using the appearance to get staffers to attend the 9 a.m meeting.
“In case you weren’t planning to attend CWG tomorrow morning, you might want to reconsider because Joe the Plumber will be joining us!” Kimberly Wallner, an aide to South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint, wrote in a message to her e-mail list this afternoon.
Last month, Wurzelbacher did a brief stint as a war reporter for the conservative web site pjtv.com. Link

Yeah, they're on a roll,Lib. They even went out and got themselves a Black man as RNC Chairman after multiple votes. I guess he's the 'none of the above' candidate. Unfortunately for them, most Blacks will see that for what it is.

Did you know that that it took 6 votes for Steele to win by 14 91-77? Btw,the guy who finished second was Katon Dawson,a guy who up until just recently, was a member of an all-white country club. The Repubs aren't going to fool anyone, just like they didn't when they appointed Clarence Thomas to fill Thurgood Marshall's court seat or when they nominated Palin as an answer to Clinton.

I like to keep a good supply of topical ones on hand. I've always believed a picture is worth a 1000 words.

So if he was the token black GOP guy like you propose, I would think more people would be voting for him. So I completely disagree.

Why do you care? You can't stand the GOP anyway so why put so much of your energy worrying about what the R's are doing and who they are doing it with? Is it because Joe dared to ask the Messiah a question calling out what he truely wanted to do??

No,It's because I view most of them as the enemy of the middle class and want them to be a permanent minority party.

Joe,I mean Samuel, the unlicensed plumber, and the guy that didn't pay his taxes, piles on Michael Steele. He's right about one thing though..."a Republican Party that he said lacks leadership and direction." and every time you get to open your mouth at a GOP event,Joe/Sam you reiterate it....
That sentiment was expressed most bluntly by Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, also known as “Joe the Plumber." He called on conservatives to be persistent and warned of a “long road ahead” with four years of Obama and a Republican Party that he said lacks leadership and direction.
Quote :
“Unfortunately we have a chairman up there who wants to redefine conservatism; he wants to make it hip hop, put it in a new package and sell it,” Wurzelbacher said, knocking Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele, whose recent statements, including a dismissive comment about talk show host Rush Limbaugh that he’s since apologized for, have drawn the ire of some conservatives.
“You can’t sell principles; either you have them or you don’t,” Wurzelbacher said to applause from most of the 800 in attendance.
“‘We the people’ have to stand up and get busy,” said Wurzelbacher. “American citizens need to be their own lobbyists.”

Joe The Plumber Admits He Knows “Little” About EFCA, Gets Jeered By Workers
Oof. Looks like Joe the Plumber’s campaigning against the Employee Free Choice Act in Pennsylvania didn’t go so well.
Mr. Plumber, whose appearances were organized by the anti-EFCA group Americans for Prosperity, admitted he knew “little” about the legislation after being confronted with questions at one of the events yesterday in Harrisburg by a Pennsylvania progressive group. He was also heckled by dozens of Pennsylvania union workers, according to a local report.
And after his rough time in Harrisburg, he skipped a subsequent rally in Philadelphia, according to union officials who were there.
Here’s some video of the grilling Mr. Plumber took from the group, Keystone Progress, which prompted the irritated plumber to respond: “I know a little about a lot of things. But I don’t know a lot about everything.”…
Pressed on the specifics of the law, Mr. Plumber repeatedly refused to answer, and finally lost his cool, telling his questioner: “Drop it, brother, drop it. I never said I was an expert, man.”
Meanwhile, the Patriot News reports that union members who were bussed to the rally jeered and heckled Mr. Plumber.
“Rat! Rat! Rat!” some shouted. Another yelled: “Real plumbers are for card check!”
According to the Patriot News, Mr. Plumber admitted at one point that he hadn’t read the bill.

What planet is this guy living on? Let's see.....Before he met McCain he was nothing but an unlicensed plumber. After, he gets a book deal, and becomes a wingnut celebrity overnight. I can't wait to hear McCain's reaction to this nut...
Joe the Plumber is biting the hand that vaulted him into national prominence.
"I don’t owe him s—. He really screwed my life up, is how I look at it," Joe -- aka Samuel Wurzelbacher -- said of John McCainin an interview with Pennsylvania public radio correspondent Scott Detrow.
"McCain was trying to use me. I happened to be the face of middle Americans. It was a ploy."
Wurzelbacher was appearing at an event benefiting a Pennsylvania Republican state representative on Saturday.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Joe the Plumber is plunging into party politics.Samuel "Joe" Wurzelbacher, who was hailed by Republican John McCain's presidential campaign in 2008, won one of nearly 400 seats on the local Republican Party committee in Ohio's Lucas County. But don't call him Joe the Politician just yet.The group he'll serve on meets only a few times a year to elect the county chairman and sets the party agenda. Wurzelbacher won the seat by a 38-24 vote Tuesday in his suburban Toledo precinct. A message seeking comment was left with him Wednesday.

In the constant effort to say the dumbest, most ignorant thing ever, Joe takes the lead once more. How 'Joe the Plumber Became Joe the Bible Believing Christian' Wurzelbacher explained how his pastor, who seems to believe that faith and science are incompatible, noted that while science textbooks have several new editions, the Bible has never been revised. ”Revision Seven.’ He said, ‘now look at the Bible, what does it say’? I said, ‘Holy Bible.’ He said, ‘see any revisions on it Joe’? I said, ‘no.’ He said, ‘the reason why is because this is God’s word…man’s always looking for an answer, that’s why it’s revised.”

Yeah, pretty spectacular, isn't it?
Yup, in his world, there's no such thing as evolution, global warming, or biblical scholars. The angel Gabriel hand delivered the very first KJV bible to Adam. In English.
No wonder conservatives loved this guy. They could smell the stupid on him...

The right keeps getting more and more insane with every election cycle. Do they not realize that their continuing war on science is a threat to humanity?

"All I said was gun control was implemented, and then governments proceeded to violate human rights," Wurzelbacher said, according to the Toledo Blade. "Nowhere did I mention the Holocaust or was I even talking about it."
Really,you moron?
Quote :
Wurzelbacher sparked controversy when he posted a web video Monday featuring the following remarks:
Quote :
"In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were exterminated. In 1939, Germany established gun control. From 1939 to 1945, six million Jews and seven million others unable to defend themselves were exterminated. I love America."

So after Joe the Plumber suggested that gun control was responsible for the Holocaust and that the Bible is more accurate than science textbooks because “it was never revised,” I’m sure you’re all wondering who’s running his brilliant communications operation. One great introduction to Joe’s “Director of Communications” Phil Christofanelli was this article where he doubled down on Joe’s comments and further suggested that gun control contributed to slavery:
Quote :
‘Well, blacks weren’t allowed to own guns in the south, that’s a historical fact as well,’ said Mr. Christofanelli. ‘So, it would seem that the argument would apply there as well.’
By this brilliant reasoning, I guess you could also say gun control caused the arrests of activists during the civil rights movement because police didn’t hand out guns before spraying people with fire-hoses.
As it turns out, Christofanelli is a conservative from the St. Louis region who likes to follow the James O’Keefe script of attacking private citizens with distorted video, so I thought I’d fill in a few extra details about him.
