Big Winner Tonight: Barack Obama...Turnout exceptionally low compared to 2008

Big Losers: Romney and Gingrich. Santorum wins in MO & MN,leading in Colo but only 7% in. He has now won more states than Mittens. Shocked I realize that doesn't really mean anything but it does give him a new talking point for stump speeches. Gingrich pretty much getting killed. IMO,it's only a matter of time until his sugar daddy Sheldon Adelson cuts bait, heads to Romney, and Newt runs out of money.

I started to read a few days ago that Santorum was gaining in the polls...it definitely makes things interesting! I really don't think that MN, CO, or MO are game changers...(especially there are no delegates that get awarded...I really don't understand that)

True, but Santorum can now claim he's won more states than Mitt and that could resonate with people that don't pay real close attention to politics.

Good point Karen.
Voters may have been more energized earlier when there were more candidates and before they started making major gaffes (Rick Perry) or embarrassing baggage (Herman Cain) came to light.

Now I think it's just a case where voters just don't like the candidates.

The bad news is though, that time and time again conservatives don't fall in love, but they do fall in line. They'll be there in November in the same amount as always. It's more of a matter of how well the Democrats turn out.

I will say that it irritates me that Obama is ignoring Missouri considering how close he was to winning it in 08.

Looks Like There's a New GOP Frontrunner
Quote :
Early indications from two polls in the field -- Public Policy Polling and Gallup -- show Rick Santorum either taking over the lead among Republican voters nationally or at least tied with Mitt Romney.

A new Fox News poll also shows Santorum surging and in the last two days the poll was in the field he moved into a dead heat with Romney, 30% to 30%.
