Michigan man still on food stamps despite winning $2M

A man who won $2 million on a Michigan lottery show has told a TV station that he still uses food stamps.

Leroy Fick of Bay County admitted he still swipes the electronic card at stores, nearly a year after winning a jackpot on "Make Me Rich!" He told WNEM-TV in Saginaw that more than half the prize went to taxes.

Fick says the Department of Human Services told him he could continue to use the card, which is paid with tax dollars. He told WNEM: "If you're going to ... try to make me feel bad, you aren't going to do it."
The TV station says people have seen Fick driving a new Audi convertible. Messages seeking comment were left with his attorney and the state today.

Paying someone benefits for a "fetish"?

Like paying someone saying, "I'm trapped in the wrong body; I can't function as a male when I feel I am a female!"

What's next, besides the one article I posted in Lake County, not knowing if it belonged in Porter County, about a tavern owner having 3 or 4 different food stamp cards, being stupid enough to using the 3 or 4 different cards with pin numbers attached at one shopping spree, which led to his arrest. All items were typical items used for a bar/tavern. How stupid!

Hey Rob-in-the-Hood, (tee, hee) would you believe that story you posted about the guy pretending to be an infant on disability is just now printed on page 3 of the Chicago Sun-Times, today??????

News travels slow from Washington to Chicago, doesn't it?
