- I grew up with unions. New York is largely union, and I sort of spent a lot of time in Florida, which is also a union right to work state so it’s a different kind of thing. But I’ve had great relationships with unions, and I’ve made good deals. I’ve made a lot of money, I mean, I’ve made many billions of dollars and in many cases I’ve been dealing with unions. So, really, collective bargaining doesn’t bother me so much.
But what would the Tea Party faction think?!?!?! I saw a thread over on the other forum about Trump asking good questions. Seems to me that they should ask questions of their own candidates considering after a little over 2 years everybody knows how Obama runs the country. Maybe they should ask Trump if he'd choose his cabinet via pageant or reality show...

Yeah, started by none other than 'public overbite' Do a search and see some of the crazy topics he started after Obama was elected such as "Stock Market Tumbles Since Obama Election" or "Great President, George Bush, Saves Auto Industry". :rolfcry: - Quote :

Here's a good question to fire back at the birthers... Why hasn't Trig Palin's birth certificate ever been produced - Quote :

Oh yeah...just imagine the clips from Celebrity Apprentice that could be used, like Trump gushing over Gary Busey.

| It's kind of sad. They're furious over there that I even asked the question. How dare I, lol. Oh well. There's only 3 people over there who aren't Hammond people anyways. | |

How about free oil like Trump suggested? Why are we the ones going overseas? We are sinking trying to save stupid countries where nothing has changed in years except to pull us down with them. When is Obama gonna realize we need to be reimbursed or Mind OUR OWN FREAKING PROBLEMS? Gas....$6.00? Now, we're the third world.

| Well, boys, forget Palin...she's in the entertainment business.
I'm in the "Pissed OFF" business.
Why is it not fair to ask these stupid countries after a decade to not reimburse our expenses with free oil or some kind of shit?
What's the problem? Why can't you guys answer me?
The war(s) dragged us down...and we can't afford them anymore...especially when we can't even close our borders...where the freaking kids are running away from their Muslim families because of "arranged marriage"? You know what I'm talking about...when being married at 16 is against he law here.
If they would close the borders right now, end the war, ask for reimbursement, what the hell do we have to loose?
What exactly?
Cells are here waiting to attack and Americans' are being asked to sacrifice more?
Close the borders, withdraw the troops, and fluck the circus in Washington. They are millionaires, living off the middle class that is no longer, can't make ends meet, yet flout around the country, eating lobster and double-bakd potatoes and exotic food.
They entertain, yet complain about "why don't we have those fancy phones with screens and buttons"?
Well, Obama, had you stayed home on one or two occasions while touting Hawaii vacations or visits with friends, mom-in-law and kids, wife in tow....that's all it would have taken to upgrade your phone system.
God, he's stupid. He played 54 rounds of golf in one years while stupid George (yes, stupid), Bush only played 24 rounds his whole term.
This POTUS has not done one damn thing to improve anything...took his time off...now he's a FLOTUS. Floating around doing nothing but raising money to continue to do things he should have gotten done the first year, as promised.
I didn't vote for him...I hated who I had to vote for. If it takes a Trump to charge forward...who could be worse?

Big Deal....he likes golf and it's 2 years, not one. Bush spent an inordinate amount of time on physical fitness. He just preferred different things like Mountain biking. He also went to bed every night about 9:30. I guarantee you that he works much harder than Bush, the uncurious.

| Here's what really confuses me. Trump was a guy just years ago sailing around with Ted Kennedy. Who in the world believes that his claim to the Republican ticket is legitimate? | |

Paul,The only reason he's even being covered is because you can always count on him to say something provocative and the fact that the R field is so weak. All it takes to capture the media's attention is to be good for a sound byte and Trump is an expert at it. I saw somewhere that in the latest polls their preferred candidate is "none of the above". Trump's latest feud is with Jerry Seinfeld All we need now is for Rosie O'Donnel to put her 2 cents in and the circus will be officially underway

| Trump said if he needs millions to run his own campaign, he has it. He has his own private jet...and in my eyes, he doesn't need to go around kissing babies.
The country needs a leader, because Trump knows the ropes, and is not going to see what he built, torn down by the leader who "has no clue" how to run this country.
I sincerely hope Trump does run. He never filed personal bankruptcy. He knows the foreign policies, currency, economics, and etc.
He did state on some news I saw on TV, "he wouldn't hesitate to open his books".
He will tell his advisers where to shove their opinion. He won't kiss azz, so that's what I want in a POTUS.
Sharp-shooter, doesn't give a shitz what ya think, will do what's right to get the USA back, and doesn't need anyone whispering in his ear.
Most of all, he'll tell ya where to go.

He will need it...since the Supreme Court allows corporations to use their own money to back candidates...he now has to fight the Koch Brothers...

That's right...he used the laws to screw the people he owed money to...The businesses that employ working people got screwed...not him. I saw it first hand when I worked on Trump Tower in Chicago...He would not pay the contractors for months and months and then when the contractors got to a point where could not longer pay their workers he would settle with them for 50-60% on the dollar. The contractors had to take it just to stay in business...He never uses his own money...

- In a separate legal development, Donald Trump was sued by former Chicago Sun-Times publisher F. David Radler and his daughters in February 2008 for rescinding all "friends and family" condominium purchases, including Radler's.[78][79] As president of the Sun-Times' holding company, Radler had negotiated the sale of the paper's headquarters building to Trump's consortium. The price of Radler's condo had been discounted by 10%, and only a 5% deposit was required instead of the standard 15%.[78] Radler and family were part of a group of 40 insiders who were able to purchase property at about $500 per square foot ($5,400/m2). When the market value of the property eventually rose to over $1,300 per square foot ($14,000/m2), Trump nullified the "friends and family" sales.

Seinfeld made a promise. Seinfeld broke his promise. Trump pointed out that Seinfeld broke his promise. If you feel that this somehow reflects badly on Trump, please explain why.
He was supposed to perform...but because of Trump's idiotic stance on the birther issue he decided not to perform...don't see a problem there...No different than the repubs wanting to pull support for planned parenthood and NPR (which will really balance the budget!) because they do not agree with their statement of purpose...Both of those organizations help many people also... Your analogy holds up … well, not at all, actually. First of all, I don’t recall the Republicans making a promise to support Planned Meatgrinders and NPR, while Seinfeld did promise to perform at Trump’s son’s charity. So, while the Republicans reneged on nothing, Seinfeld did. Second of all, if your analogy were to hold true, it would require you to demonstrate that the Republicans were not supporting Planned Meatgrinders and NPR in order to protest the views of the parents of those who run those organizations, much as Seinfeld was attempting to punish Trump’s son because of the views of Trump himself. Whatever your opinion of Donald Trump, this is one of the lamest incidents you could have used in your attempt make him look bad. Trump, by pointing out that Seinfeld had reneged on his promise, was merely stating an indisputable fact. It’s all a moot point now, as I have read that Seinfeld intends to donate monetarily to Eric Trump’s charity to make up for his cancellation. Good for him – I’ve always thought of Seinfeld as a decent guy. But chuckmo, you really need to take a course in Analogy 101. Soon.
