I thought he was dead for sure. That he died in a rock slide or a heart attack when nobody was around, and that his followers just kept recycling old audio and video bits of him to keep the movement alive. I'm definitely surprised; I really thought we'd never hear from him again.

The FBI analyzes behavior. They don't disect bodies AFAIK.

Sea burials can be allowed, they said, but only in special cases where the death occurred aboard a ship.

Bin Laden's burial at sea "runs contrary to the principles of Islamic laws, religious values and humanitarian customs," said Sheik Ahmed al-Tayeb, the grand Imam of Cairo's al-Azhar mosque, Sunni Islam's highest seat of learning.
