Right-Wing Kook Arrested in Ricin Letter Investigation
Quote :
CNN is reporting, and it’s backed up by official sources on the record so you can believe it this time, that an arrest has been made in Tupelo, Mississippi in the ricin letter case.

(CNN) — An arrest has been made in connection with letters sent to President Barack Obama and Sen. Roger Wicker that authorities are testing to determine if they contain ricin, two federal law enforcement officials said Wednesday.

The person was arrested in the Tupelo, Mississippi, area, one of the officials said.

UPDATE at 4/17/13 5:20:32 pm

NBC News reports that the ricin letters were completely unrelated to the Boston bombings. The timing appears to be pure coincidence.
Some links to posts around the Internet by Paul Kevin Curtis:

And a tweet posted by @kevincurtislive uses the same phrase investigators found in the ricin letters:

This is how us video peeps roll & how "we the people' find justice in Mississippi Smile ha ha ha This is KC & I approve …http://lnkd.in/4cemU6

I'm not seeing it, either. "Kook", maybe, but "right-wing kook"? There is no way to ascertain that based upon what he posted here. Could it be just another in the long line of his hallucinations?

Released.

US drops charges against Mississippi man

Quote :
US prosecutors have dropped charges against a Mississippi man accused of sending ricin-laced letters to Barack Obama and a US senator, according to a court order signed by a judge on Tuesday.

The move came hours after Paul Kevin Curtis was released from a Mississippi jail on bond. In a court order calling for the charges to be dismissed, prosecutors said the "ongoing investigation has revealed new information" without providing any additional detail. An FBI agent had testified in court that no evidence of ricin was found at Curtis's home.

Meanwhile, authorities searched the home of another Mississippi man on Tuesday in connection with the case.

Curtis said afterwards that he respected Obama and would never harm a public servant. "I love this country," he said. The release of Curtis, 45, on bond came shortly after a judge indefinitely postponed a court hearing on his detention.

Christi McCoy, Curtis's attorney, told CNN she believed her client had been framed. A spokesperson for the US attorney's office in Oxford, Mississippi did not return calls for comment.

James Everett Dutschke arrested in connection to ricin letters case
Quote :
James Everett Dutschke was arrested around 1 a.m. at his home in Tupelo Saturday and turned over to the U.S. Marshal Services without incident, Tupelo Police Chief Tony Carleton, confirmed Saturday to the NEMS Daily Journal at 9 a.m.

FBI spokeswoman Deborah Madden tells The Associated Press 41-year-old Everett Dutschke was arrested Saturday at his Tupelo home in connection with the letters, which allegedly contained ricin. They were sent last week to President Barack Obama, Sen. Roger Wicker of Mississippi and earlier to an 80-year-old Lee County Justice Court Judge, Sadie Holland.

Dutschke is expected to appear in federal court Monday. It appears he is being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center. No officials have confirmed that information. Dutschke's attorney, Lori Nail Basham, could not immediately be reached for comment.

This is not the first time Dutschke has been involved with law enforcement officials. Dutschke is currently out on $25,000 bond facing three state indictments that he allegedly fondled three females under the age of 16.

Dutschke has twice run for public office in Northeast Mississippi. In 2007, he unsuccessfully challenged Democratic incumbent Steve Holland for a seat in the state House of Representatives as a Republican. In 2008, he lost a bid for Lee County election commissioner as a Democrat.
So we have a failed former GOP candidate,an alleged child molester, and now a right-wing terrorist accused of thei crime. That my friends is what you call a Trifecta! cheers

Let me get this straight.
You fabricated entirely the narrative that Mr. Curtis, the first suspect, was a “right-wing kook”.
When it was demonstrated that you were wrong, you did not acknowledge your error, choosing rather to remain silent, hoping that everyone on the forum would forget your erroneous claim over time.
Now, when there is a chance that the second suspect may turn out to be a “right-wing kook”, you feel that you have been somehow vindicated.
What a fucking piece of work.
