Here's A MESSAGE TO YOU FREAKY PASTORS OF RELIGION....

You sent a drunk to my open door with a package of religious material. Through the window, I told him to "go away, I have enough junk mail". He ignored me, obviously drunk and tried to enter through my front storm window...

I quickly called out for my son's roommate who told him he was going to call the cops. He was obviously drunk.

I now have a sign saying, "LEAVE ME ALONE, I DON'T WANT YOUR GARBAGE TALK, RELIGION TALK NOR YOU SENDING DRUNKS to preach and try and break in.

I'm sick of this crap...next time I will retain them and call the cops...because I have a sign up "NO TRESPASSING, NO SOLICITATION FOR RELIGIOUS CONVERSIONS, STAY AWAY and OFF THE PROPERTY, HAVE GUN, Alarm and will SHOOT!"

Well, ya gotta say something at this point to convince them you are serious.

Seriously, I mean...and here's a "SHOUT OUT" to all you hard up preachers using DRUNKS that don't care and are willing to walk right in...I have kitchen knives and a roommate. YOU will be in trouble for sending out these homeless and drunk people knocking on my door every other week.

The sign is now out there, loud and clear. I call the cops while I "cop" the drunken idiot soliciting a bag of religious goodies for a pastor who calls himself a pastor, knowing he sending felons out to pass out his message.

He nearly walked in my home, and I live in SOUTH HAMMOND, a quaint neighborhood, and I don't need to put up with this shitzpuh religious drunks/obviously former felons casing out the house....next time, they are in jail when they knock with the sign I have posted on my front door.

I will bluff them til the cops get here. It's an intrusion on my privacy, and who knows if they are representing a church...this guy wanted to just walk in drunk and case the house out. Now you know why I stay here? To protect what's left.

I have my own GOD, my own house of worship, I am Catholic, and leave me the damn alone. Quit hiring drunks to spread your lying crap around. In exchange for room and board, and allow them to arrive drunk at peoples' homes. I've HAD IT!

I'm calling the cops on you Jehovah Witnesses, or any religion that feels they have the right to knock on my door and tell me what I should believe in. That's one thing...

Sending a homeless (obviously spruced up homeless) drunk on the job to my house, next time I will grab the damn bag...and get him arrested and hold the church and so-called pastor accountable for sending drunks to my house to promote their religion. Leave me the hell alone!

You Jehovah Witnesses are just as guilty, coming here all summer long after I told you over and over to leave me alone...why do you feel you have the right to keep coming back. Take your cult and stick it up your azzes. I want no part of any of you idiots.

Karen, I'm starting to believe this is a new scam occurring. The person that came yesterday had regular clothes on - a shirt with jeans, and his hair was slightly reddish blond.

What part of "NO" would he not understand? My window is next to the door where I can look out, and talk through the window.

Jehovah Witnesses, you can identify them by the way they dress respectively, but how many times do they have to keep coming back with the other sign I put up?

I think it's a new scam out there...drunks or homeless people armed with some church's junk/literature....and pose as a member of the church. I'm not sure, but the next time this happens, I am calling the cops. I do have free 911 on my phone in case my son's roommate isn't here.

I really think it's a "new scam". Doesn't matter there was a sign up...this guy wanted to walk in anyway... he looked and acted like he was on something or drunk.

I think the Chief should warn the public...but I guess something has to happen first in order to prove it.

Valparaiso is where I would want to live if I had my way...or back in Missouri, my hometown where I still have my family...

But in Hammond, anything goes...there aren't enough cops that could cruise these streets, in my opinion, but they do keep a watchful eye on my house, seeing more and more passing by or sitting in the empty church lot across the street.

In Valparaiso, it's a different town than Hammond. It's gotten where they can't read signs anymore....the pitiful crooks.

I meant I stiill have extended family and close cousins in Missouri and classmates that still keep in touch since 5th grade...and it's so different down there. Never a day passes that I wish my dad never got transferred out here.

It's such a different breed of people...I miss my hometown tremendously. If my parents were not here, that's where I'm heading back.
