Can't post in the freeslime thread so I started this topic. Thanks for your words of support.
I knew Bag lady, Losers & Transvestites would ban me eventually for being truthful. It also must hurt them alot to hear an opposing view.

I noted you had joined in Oct. '09 with less than half or more of 50-60 posts. It was a matter of time.

But you did nothing to deserve it. You - I KNEW, you were not a sock puppet....you were quite defensive when they accused you of being in with city hall.
I can look at a person and tell what they are about. With FreeLies and her supporters, it's a little different.
She will report you as a latch-key if you are new there, even though you joined months ago and posted very little. Even defended yourself.
That's because she's the administrator's and JCMT obligated BJ person. She doesn't pay for anything, but plays them.
You have no right to disagree on that board, even when you respectfully disagree. I got banned for no reason at all, avoiding her, after being advised by the "NERD" in the library that talked to himself for almost a year to keep that board open, posing as a Mexican rebellion. Only to have her tell me she met him in a library (while hauling her stinking, cat-hair flying, her grey, long hair that wasn't cut since the '90s flying around in my clean car)...that Exprasso is the board administrator, "although he's a NERD".
No one has a right to freedom of speech on that board...the laughs, the jokes, the picking on each other for laughs are GONE.
Now they can just sit and gossip, copy from this board to further their discussion, and speculate that the administration of the city of Hammond is so damn crooked, that it's worth a visit here, where the board blew their computers apart, got new ones...yet they still visit.

On the issue of the ATMs - nothing there.
On the issue of Mattlapp presenting facts and figures even based on an assumption of say "there is 20 machines...here's what they make" - because he does his research before he makes a post. They accuse him of kissing the mayor's azz when long ago he made it known he was not in favor of how the administration was handling things and did not approve of the mayor.
Still, they press on.....they can't stand you unless you agree with them, yet they only care about him being out of office and willing to bet on anyone else, without him in office.
That's not the way to vote. You research each candidate and you demand to know what the intentions are and you weigh out your info to decide for yourself whom to vote for.
What is funny is FreeLies borrowed my line and repeated it over and over: "I don't care about the R and the D after the candidates names locally. Federally it's D. So how smart is she? Some switch parties just to get your vote.
That tells me that she just wants McDermott out...and believe me..you don't fluck around with a lawyer...my ex knows shitz for years...and you don't talk shitz. They wait for the "moment" to "sock it to you", which in this case, the witch of East Brunswick, like Blago "talked tooooo much". The move will happen to destroy all her credibility at the appropriate time. It's not a game...it's serious shitz when you reach beyond the candidate way before the campaign season and involve false allegations including the extended family and his honor's own children.
I'd go for her throat if she ever pulled that shitz on me - or my children....just a matter of time. I know how lawyers work. She's gonna get it big time...I know.

For all they repeat over and over again since 2004, if it was such a big deal, why is she asking McDermott to answer?
If she's so right, why not call the FEDS years ago?

What a lifter! And you know what? My hometown in Missouri still looks the same since 1965...yep. Because it is a historical landmark town, inspectors refuse the homeowners to upgrae their homes with siding, new windows, etc. Yep, the opposite of here. Imagine living in a home from 1920 and they won't let you upgrade it cuz it is a "tourist town"? You'd have a role down there...rent is cheap; go make a difference.
Nevermind, sad as it sounds, that is my goal. To upgrade the outlining areas, to better their on-line newspaper gossip thing...introduce them to this century. They can keep the forts, and whatever preserving their ancestory and such...but they have no right telling outlining residents they can't go green. That's my goal once my parents don't need me anymore. It's long-term plans, but I do want to go there and show them in the "Show Me State". I'll never let loose of this house...but I don't want to sit and die on a computer.

Back to Calumet Avenue South:
New businesses have relocated...and the old ones either went and gone, and new ones came in and it looks quite nice compared to the depressing atmosphere was when I arrived.
Free, you don't give credit where credit is due - such a facelift on Calumet Avenue in the past two years and they are working on 169th and NORTH Calumet Avenue. You won't see it hit your end until you get out from beneath your rock and slime yourself down and around Hammond.

Here's something I think is important to allow people to know...where my brother is living...those streets in the "newest" suburb are now coated cracks with black tar.
Eight years old, those streets are falling apart. The concret in my brother's driveway just put in two years ago is already falling apart.
Family domestic problems in that new subdivision is unbelievable. I go there and sit out on the porch and laugh myself silly. The cops are at every other house every night....divorce, foreclosure, the lawns are going to hell...and you want to bitch about Hammond?

At least Hammond is fixing up the side streets, major roads, and the undercover cops are all over and more cops are everywhere.

We forgot to bring the fish basket up while traveling back to my parents' home...we got home and they were dead.

What a bug...selected the whole post twice, only one portion showed bold and large.
Think I better read the administrator's guide.

When pressing for color...it is in the foreground, and even if you select one color you can see, it doesn't come up but in black.

Gotta read the new stuff or email the administrator.
Anyone else find the typesize a pain in the azz?

It shows up so small, and even if you select the whole thing and mark it larger type, it shows that intent, and yet, leaves portions very small, light and hard to read.
What am I doing wrong or not right
Go easy on me...I just got home yesterday after Lapalooza - dropping my kid off..the traffic was a nightmare on the way down and back from Michigan to Chicago yesterday - 4.5 hours.

I had been reading what was I guess the old board until it went away. Then I kinda lost track until I caught on to the new one thru the comments sections on NWI. And thru that, is how I found this one. I joined both, and have kinda lurked and read so I had a pretty good idea of what was up, and who was who before I posted anything.

I have lived in the region all my life. I live in Hammond now, moved here after the election, so I don't have a dog in the Mayoral fight. But from what I've experienced since I've been here, the man seems to be doing a pretty good job. That, and my strong beliefs in respect for the position sorta put me on the otherside of that group. You know, they just couldn't believe that someone from the outside, with no associations to anyone, would call them out for proof on the factless and baseless rumors they start. They ("FreeSlime" and "JustCallMyMommie") knew nothing about me. Hell, they didn't (and still don't) even know what sex I am! Then came the McThis and McThat crap, and I humorously told them to kiss McAss. I knew it would just be a matter of time until I was banned, so I spent the ending days just antagonizing them with a little off beat humor. I love to entertain, IT WAS ALOT OF FUN!

Oh yeah, BTW.

Freetime didn't call the mayors show not only because he had proof of her posting lies. He had posted a link to a not so favorable article in The Times on his FaceBook page Monday about her suing WJOB in 1995.

This is what he wrote:

That is when she became my personal stalker, and for the last six years I have had to live with her lies. She posts lies to the internet under the name "Freetime", because she has lots of that available.

Maybe I should do what the Dedelow administration did and just hire her to shut her up? Then again, if I did that, my Friday morning show would be so much less interesting!

Hey freek, how did you get accepted OTOB? I've been trying for over a year to no avail. As Ur pointed out, it seems as though freelies tells the admin who to allow OTOB. I too am an average citizen that likes the direction our city is headed. They always accuse me of working for the city when I confront them on the times article discussions. They never prove me wrong, just say I work for the city plain and simple. I'm not sure how long id last OTOB, but I would like the opportunity to set them straight when they write invalid arguments.
