Some of us can not hear in large gatherings such as church, meetings, etc.
Some of the disabled find it hard to travel or find transportation.
Why not do us a favor and report what you discuss at each meeting so citizens are aware of new happenings, trends regarding crime, etc.
You don't have to feel obligated, but to be fair to those that have no means to hear at a large meeting, can't you all get together and warn us?
I just did, just from observation. Can you do more? Someone that cares who holds those meetings will do just that...inform the residents that care. Tell us what to look for. Tell us what the latest new scams are besides the same old elderly ones we heard for years.
The latest is seeing people walking down the middle of the street with summer furniture on a quiet block where most residents are not home.
Please take the time and make a forum devoted to just this without mentioning addresses. Say, north, south, west or east of Hammond. That's all we need to know and it is NOT too much to ask.
