Tomorrow April 15th,brainwashed wingnuts, supported by Fox News shills, will be gathering in to protest taxes and who knows what else. Maybe someone should point out to these loons that most Americans believe taxes are fair.
The only winners tomorrow will be the entrepreneurs selling T-shirts & other worthless crap to the suckers that attend. The media that will also benefit by being presented with endless fodder to amuse their viewers and readers.
All in all these "protests" should be almost as effective as the Iraq war protests were

Ed Schultz had a great video yesterday of a tea party planning meeting yesterday. Among the topics that the protesters discussed were plans to burn science books at public schools because they talked about the "immoral theory of evolution" and that the new DTV converter boxes contained secret "mind control" chips. These people are the best argument that I can think of to invest more money in public education. We certainly don't need another generation of Americans that are as clueless as these folks.

Ah yes. More Ed Schultz wisdom. (or the lack of it)

Yeah, here's the clip of the nut advocating book burning. It comes in about 4:45 into it. The exact exchange goes
Quote :
"Burn the books!" a woman yells from off-camera. The camera man then asks if she's serious, and which books she'd burn. "The ones in college, the brainwashing books, like the evolution crap."
I am soooooooooo looking forward to tomorrow!

Wow. Just wow... I know I shouldn't be, but I'm still surprised at how proud people are of their ignorance.

The best part is that these morons are not even aware of the fact that the taxes that they are protesting were put in by the Bush administration & his rubber stamp Republican congress.
Obama has actually given 95% of us a tax break.

Right. He's already increased the tax to middle to lower income people, but you are too blind to see it.

Show us your proof Lois.
Have any evidence to support your ridiculous absurd claim?

Of course I do, and I expect you'll jump all over it. Here you go anyway. It's a known fact that over 85% of the smokers in this country (2 packs or more per day) are in the middle to lower income bracket. And your Messiah raised the Federal Tax on tobacco products from 60 cents a pack to $1.01 per pack. THAT, my mesmerized friend is an increase of 40%. OK now, pile on...

I stand corrected. Please forgive me. I was not aware that the brainwashed, right wing, Fox Noise, pinheads were protesting the Federal Tax on tobacco tomorrow.

We beg your forgiveness. How silly of us not to have empathy for the minority of Americans who still insist on shortening their life spans while increasing health care cost burdens for the rest of us.
Every one of those children that are enjoying health care as a result of increased funding to SCHIP as a result of the tobacco tax increase should be ashamed of themselves.

Like it or not, I just pointed out the fact. The way you spin it is up to you.

Right. And never mind that you conveniently ignore the fact that Barry is giving the middle class a TAX CUT.
I got an extra $1200 coming in my tax refund check. How about you Lois? how much is Barry giving you back?...or are you in that upper 2-5 % that's making 7 figures & is going to pay a little more? eh?

For your information, (and for sparks) I get no tax refund. Therefore NOTHING extra. And I am not a secretary/bookkeeper. I am a Financial Adviser, and consultant to four firms, with a master's degree.

You see, I pay taxes quarterly, what I owe at the time. I am not married, so I will not be receiving any tax break or refund. That's all you need to know.

This looks like good site to keep an eye on the propagandists tomorrow...
Welcome to $aveTheRich.com, a new site dedicated to documenting efforts by Fox News Network, their media personalities and a handful of conservative millionaires to deceive the press and the American public with these so-called "Tax Day Tea Parties."
We've created this space as a clearinghouse of information to expose the truth behind the Tea Party Tantrums being held around the country. We're tracking the events state-by-state; if you can join us, register and send us a note! http://www.savetherich.com/

Agreed... besides some people would be interested in these tea parties only if they found out flags would be burned...

That's an optional tax. I choose not to pay it every time I fail to buy a pack of smokes.

Not necessarily, edge. Intelligent people don't get tax refunds - they keep their money throughout the year and let it work for them. When it comes time to pay, they pay. They don't wait for a refund and delude themselves that the government is 'giving' them something. They are aware that the money is theirs to begin with, and that there is absolutely no reason to give it up until they are forced to, at gunpoint.

Oh sure they do. I know plenty of intelligent people that get tax refunds. Fact is jack three out of four individual taxpayers will get a refund this year.

Yeah right, like in the stock market. I know a lot of "intelligent people" that lost a lot of money by letting that money "work for them."
